清中期城市社會(huì)的差序格局——以北京旗人日記《閑窗錄夢(mèng)》中喪葬禮俗實(shí)踐為例

【摘要】:許多學(xué)者在理解中國(guó)社會(huì)的當(dāng)代轉(zhuǎn)型時(shí),將費(fèi)孝通的差序格局理論視為"傳統(tǒng)"社會(huì)的寫(xiě)照,現(xiàn)實(shí)情況與差序格局理論不相符,被視為"現(xiàn)代"與"傳統(tǒng)"的差異。而本文通過(guò)分析清中期北京旗人日記《閑窗錄夢(mèng)》中記載的葬禮活動(dòng),發(fā)現(xiàn)在這樣一個(gè)"傳統(tǒng)"的城市社會(huì)中,人際關(guān)系模式只是大體遵循差序格局的原則,人際交往的核心層不完全由血緣和地緣關(guān)系決定,市民通過(guò)擬親屬稱謂構(gòu)建自己的直系親屬層。而同心圓的格局也在相當(dāng)程度上被社會(huì)身份分層與經(jīng)濟(jì)地位分層所打破,變成鋸齒狀模式,這與學(xué)者們?cè)诂F(xiàn)代社會(huì)中觀察到的現(xiàn)象非常近似。同時(shí),葬禮也是社會(huì)關(guān)系動(dòng)態(tài)重組的重要時(shí)機(jī)。這提醒我們,描述中國(guó)社會(huì)的當(dāng)代變遷時(shí),必須首先明確"傳統(tǒng)""現(xiàn)代"與"城市化"等系列概念的內(nèi)涵,以往我們認(rèn)為屬于從"傳統(tǒng)"到"現(xiàn)代"的變化,可能只是"傳統(tǒng)"本身從鄉(xiāng)土到城市的變化。
[Abstract]:In understanding the contemporary transformation of Chinese society, many scholars regard Fei Xiaotong's theory of differential order pattern as a portrayal of "traditional" society. The reality does not accord with the theory of "differential order pattern" and is regarded as the difference between "modern" and "traditional". By analyzing the funeral activities recorded in the diary of Beijing flag people in the middle of Qing Dynasty, the author finds out that in such a "traditional" urban society, the interpersonal relationship pattern is only generally followed by the principle of "different order pattern". The core layer of interpersonal communication is not entirely determined by blood relationship and geographical relationship, and citizens construct their immediate kinship layer by pseudo kinship appellation. The pattern of concentric circle is also broken by the stratification of social identity and economic status to a certain extent and becomes a zigzag pattern which is very similar to the phenomenon observed by scholars in modern society. At the same time, funeral is also an important opportunity for the dynamic reorganization of social relations. This reminds us that when describing the contemporary changes in Chinese society, we must first clarify the connotation of the series of concepts such as "tradition", "modernity" and "urbanization", which we considered to be a change from "tradition" to "modern" in the past. It may be just a change in the "tradition" itself from the countryside to the city.
