【摘要】：白修德(1915年5月-1986年5月),原名西奧多·H·懷特,他是在抗戰(zhàn)時期來華的美國記者、作家,時任美國《時代》雜志駐中國的戰(zhàn)地記者,是美國新聞大亨亨利·盧斯的得力助手。他在哈佛大學所學的專業(yè)是歷史學,但受導師費正清的引導,后來從事了新聞報道工作。他于1939年4月到達重慶,先在國民政府宣傳部工作,后赴西北考察,打破了蔣政權(quán)的新聞封鎖,親歷和報道了河南大饑荒,又揭露“史迪威事件”真相,并于1944年10月到訪延安。根據(jù)在華六年的經(jīng)歷和觀察,白修德逐漸對國共兩黨的本質(zhì)有了清晰的認知,他看到了蔣介石政權(quán)的腐朽和專制,轉(zhuǎn)變了來華初期對蔣政權(quán)的態(tài)度,轉(zhuǎn)而同情和支持中國共產(chǎn)黨,并預言:國民黨將會失敗,中共定會掌握政權(quán)。由于他堅持自己的觀點和立場報道中國真相,抗戰(zhàn)結(jié)束后,白修德返回美國并與《時代》主編亨利·盧斯分道揚鑣,1946年他和賈安娜合著《中國的驚雷》一書,向世界揭示中國抗戰(zhàn)內(nèi)幕,影響深遠。全文分為四個部分進行論述,具體如下:第一,白修德來華的背景。一方面是由于艱辛貧困的童年生活造就了他刻苦努力的品質(zhì),為后來他能夠成為一名新聞記者打下了基礎;另一方面是由于費正清的欣賞和幫助,引導他走向了新聞記者的職業(yè)生涯,在戰(zhàn)時中國進行新聞報道。第二,白修德來華后與國民黨政權(quán)的接觸并對其做出的認知與判斷。以白修德來華與國民黨接觸和交往的歷史細節(jié)為基礎,通過白修德在宣傳部的工作、西北之行、報道河南饑荒等經(jīng)歷,從中總結(jié)和概括他對國民黨政權(quán)的認知。第三,白修德赴延安與共產(chǎn)黨政權(quán)的接觸并對其做出的認知與判斷。白修德通過到訪延安進行考察,對中共有了更為深刻的認知,了解了國共兩黨的本質(zhì)區(qū)別,對戰(zhàn)時中國未來的前途做出了預言。第四,白修德在華經(jīng)歷所產(chǎn)生的影響。白修德在華六年的經(jīng)歷,不僅使他的個人命運發(fā)生轉(zhuǎn)變,而且使他認清了國共兩黨的本質(zhì)和前途,同時他揭開了美國主流媒體對蔣介石腐朽政權(quán)揭露的序幕。
[Abstract]:Pai Su-tak (May 1915-May 1986, formerly Theodore H. White) was an American journalist, writer, and war correspondent for time magazine in China during the War of Resistance against Japan. He was the right-hand man of American news tycoon Henry Luce. His major at Harvard was history, but he was guided by his mentor, John King Fairbank. He arrived in Chongqing on April 1939, first in the propaganda department of the National Government, and then in the northwest, breaking the news blockade of the Chiang regime and experiencing and reporting on the famine in Henan. He also exposed the truth of the "Stilwell incident" and visited Yenan on October 1944. Based on six years of experience and observation in China, Basiu Tak gradually had a clear understanding of the nature of the two parties. He saw the decadence and autocracy of Jiang Jieshi's regime, changed his initial attitude toward Chiang's regime, and turned to sympathize with and support the Communist Party of China, and predicted that the Kuomintang would fail. Because he insisted on his views and positions to report the truth about China, after the War of Resistance, Basiud returned to the United States and parted ways with Henry Luce, editor of Times. In 1946, he and Juana co-authored "Thunder of China", which revealed the insider of China's War of Resistance to Japan to the world and had far-reaching influence. The full text is divided into four parts to discuss, the details are as follows: first. On the one hand, because of his difficult and poor childhood, he worked hard and laid the foundation for him to become a journalist. On the other hand, because of his appreciation and help, John King Fairbank led him to a career as a journalist and carried out news coverage in wartime China. On the basis of the historical details of the contacts and exchanges between Bai Xiude and the Kuomintang in China, through his work in the propaganda Department and his trip to Northwest China. This paper reports the experiences of famine in Henan Province and summarizes his cognition of the Kuomintang regime. Third. Bai Xiude went to Yenan to contact with the Communist regime and made the cognition and judgment. Through his visit to Yan'an, Bai Xiude had a deeper understanding of the CPC and understood the essential difference between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. He predicted the future of China during the war. 4th, the influence of Bai Xiude's experience in China. His six years' experience in China not only changed his personal destiny. It also made him recognize the essence and future of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and at the same time he opened the prologue of the American mainstream media to reveal the corrupt regime of Jiang Jieshi.
