【摘要】：威廉·阿普爾曼·威廉斯以美國外交史學聞名于世，，他是美國“新左派”史學的旗幟性人物，還是“威斯康星學派”的創(chuàng)立者和領(lǐng)袖。他在美國外交史學上顯示出其獨特的魅力，但是近代國內(nèi)研究他外交史學思想的人甚少。本文將會系統(tǒng)的闡述其外交史學，彰顯其精髓。 威廉斯外交史學的生成，不可忽視社會大背景的影響和啟發(fā)：20世紀中期美國社會的變遷；20世紀美國新左派運動的興起；美國傳統(tǒng)史學的弊端日益顯現(xiàn)，這些為威廉斯外交史學的研究提供了有利的環(huán)境。并且，威廉斯自己還有深厚的學術(shù)淵源：在威斯康星大學的學習，師從弗雷德·哈維·哈林頓。這些都有助于他外交史學的形成。 威廉斯的外交史學的主要內(nèi)容在本文中歸結(jié)為以下三個方面：美國外交政策的擴張論，美國外交的悲劇論，美國外交的改良論。威廉斯認為美國外交政策的本質(zhì)其實是一種擴張性質(zhì)的帝國主義政策。他并不看好美國的外交，明示這樣的外交只會阻礙美國的發(fā)展，也會損害到美國人民的利益。在對美國外交進行詳盡的分析之后，對美國未來的道路進行了規(guī)劃，呼吁美國政府放棄擴張主義的外交思想，美國應(yīng)該把目光放在國內(nèi)，建立一個平等自由、與世界和平共處的社會。 威廉斯外交史學影響深遠，他對美國外交獨特的分析和對美國未來社會的設(shè)想，是一種偉大的嘗試，他被稱為“修正主義之父”，他的史學思想受到新左派史學的影響，反過來他的史學思想也為新左派史學注入了新的活力。他對美國外交史學的研究為后學提供了借鑒的思路。 總之，威廉斯的外交史學思想內(nèi)涵豐富，觀點獨特，兼?zhèn)鋱?zhí)著的史學精神，應(yīng)受史學界更多持續(xù)的關(guān)注。
[Abstract]:William Appleman Williams is famous for American diplomatic historiography. He is the banners of American "New left" historiography. He was also the founder and leader of the Wisconsin School. He showed his unique charm in American diplomatic history. However, few people studied his diplomatic historiography in modern China, and this paper will systematically expound his diplomatic history and highlight its essence. The emergence of Williams' diplomatic history can not ignore the influence of the social background and enlighten the changes of American society in the middle of the 20th century. In 20th century, the rise of the New left Movement in the United States; The disadvantages of traditional American historiography are becoming more and more obvious, which provides a favorable environment for the study of Williams' diplomatic history. Moreover, Williams himself has a deep academic origin: studying at the University of Wisconsin. Under Fred Harrington, all this helped to shape his diplomatic history. The main contents of Williams' diplomatic history are summarized in the following three aspects: the expansion of American foreign policy and the tragedy of American diplomacy. The Reformist Theory of American diplomacy. Williams believes that the nature of American foreign policy is actually an expansionary imperialist policy. He does not think highly of American diplomacy, which is an indication that such diplomacy will only hinder the development of the United States. It will also harm the interests of the American people. After a detailed analysis of American diplomacy, the future course of the United States has been charted, and the United States Government has been called upon to abandon its expansionist diplomatic thinking. America should set its sights on its own country and build a society of equality and freedom and peaceful coexistence with the world. Williams' diplomatic history has a profound influence. His unique analysis of American diplomacy and his vision of the future society of the United States are a great attempt, and he is called "the father of revisionism". His historiography thought was influenced by the New left historiography, in turn, his historiography thought also injected new vitality into the New left historiography, and his research on American diplomatic historiography provided a way of thinking for the later study. In a word, Williams' thought of diplomatic historiography is rich in connotation, unique point of view and persistent spirit of historiography, which should be paid more and more attention to.
