【摘要】："柏林隧道(The Berlin Tunnel)"——即主要由美國中央情報局策劃和修筑的一條由西柏林通往東柏林的秘密通道,是冷戰(zhàn)早期震驚世界的一樁情報活動。在"柏林隧道"的主要運作期,中情局獲得了關(guān)于蘇聯(lián)軍事、政治等方面有價值的情報,對艾森豪威爾政府的冷戰(zhàn)決策提供了一定的參考。"柏林隧道"被發(fā)現(xiàn)后,蘇聯(lián)尤其是東德的政府和媒體都非常震驚。"柏林隧道"被發(fā)現(xiàn)在一定程度上促成了赫魯曉夫向西方發(fā)出最后通牒以及東德修建柏林墻。
[Abstract]:"Berlin Tunnel (The Berlin Tunnel)"-a secret route from West Berlin to East Berlin, mainly planned and built by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)-was an intelligence campaign that shocked the world during the early Cold War. During the main operation of the Berlin Tunnel, the CIA obtained valuable information on Soviet military, political and other aspects, which provided a certain reference for the Cold War decision of the Eisenhower administration. " The Berlin Tunnel "shocked the Soviet government and the media, especially in East Germany, when it was discovered." The Berlin Tunnel was found to have partly contributed to Khrushchev's ultimatum to the West and the construction of the Berlin Wall in East Germany.
