【摘要】：正商務(wù)印書館2014年8月出版。英國在華傳教士、著名漢學(xué)家艾約瑟(Joseph Edkins,1823-1905)編譯的《希臘志略》和《羅馬志略》,為漢語文獻中最早的希臘羅馬史專著。為幫助現(xiàn)代讀者更方便地閱讀、利用此二書,陳德正、韓薛兵以流布較廣的上海盈記書莊發(fā)兌的光緒戊戌(1898年)版本為底本,對全書采用現(xiàn)代標點符號進行點校整理,對原書中的專名(人名、地名、國名、專有名詞等),均注明現(xiàn)代通用譯名并加注英文及希臘文
[Abstract]:The Commercial Press was published in August 2014. Joseph Edkinsn (1823-1905), a British missionary in China and a famous Sinologist, compiled Greek Chronicles and Roman Chronicles, which are the earliest monographs of Greek and Roman history in Chinese literature. In order to help modern readers to read more conveniently, Chen Dezheng and Han Xue Bing made use of these two books, based on the widely spread Guang Xu Wuxu (1898) edition of Shanghai Ying Ji Shu Zhuang, and arranged the book with modern punctuation marks. The proper names (personal names, place names, country names, proper nouns, etc.) in the original book are all marked with modern universal translations and annotated in English and Greek
