【摘要】：正因《南京大屠殺》而著名于世的美國(guó)華裔女作家張純?nèi)?003年寫過(guò)一部《在美國(guó)的華人:一部敘述史》,揭露了修建美國(guó)太平洋鐵路的華人的慘痛歷史,在加拿大的華人,也同樣有著這樣一部血淚史。一個(gè)國(guó)家的歷史有很多種書寫方式。不少人都覺得加拿大的存在感太低了,除了印第安原住民和歐洲最早橫跨大西洋的移民外就再無(wú)歷史可言。但加拿大人自己知道,他們的歷史可以用一條鐵路來(lái)寫,這條鐵路鋪出了加拿大。
[Abstract]:In 2003, Zhang Chunru, a Chinese American writer famous for the Nanjing Massacre, wrote a novel "Chinese in the United States: a narrative History", which exposed the tragic history of the Chinese who built the Pacific Railway in the United States. Chinese people in Canada also have a history of blood and tears. There are many ways to write about the history of a country. Many people feel that Canada is too low a sense of existence. There is no history other than the Native Indians and the first transatlantic immigrants in Europe. But Canadians themselves know that their history can be written on a railroad that laid out Canada.
