[Abstract]:Chem Weeker 2016-07-29 LyondellBasell Industries (Houston) said it had made a final decision to build a 500-#en1# HDPE plant along the Gulf Coast of the United States. LyondellBasell plans to start the facility in 2019.It will be the first commercial installation of the company's new Hyperzone polyethylene technology, which the company has not identified.Chief executive Bob Patel said the new patented technology will produce a wide range of HDPE products with enhanced performance, many of which have the potential to exceed industry benchmarks.
