【摘要】：數(shù)學是社會思想和文化的產(chǎn)物,幾乎每一位數(shù)學家的數(shù)學觀都受到其所生活的時代和環(huán)境的智識氛圍、思想思潮和所有社會資源的影響。在這方面,帕斯卡爾早期數(shù)學觀的發(fā)展變化提供了一個典型的案例,其典型特征是他關于數(shù)學的觀點與其宗教追求密切地聯(lián)系在一起,主要體現(xiàn)在其數(shù)學研究的動機、目標以及他對數(shù)學之于信仰的價值等問題堅持不懈的追求和思考上。帕斯卡爾的早期數(shù)學觀深受以梅森為代表的巴黎數(shù)學家團體的影響;他們對數(shù)學的神圣性、有效性和確定性深信不疑,數(shù)學研究是其信仰的一部分。這種認識奠定了帕斯卡爾數(shù)學生涯的基礎,他的數(shù)學實踐深深地打上這種宗教數(shù)學觀的烙印,其關于算術三角形的工作即是這種特色的典型體現(xiàn)。但同時,隨著帕斯卡爾交往圈子的擴大,詹森主義者對數(shù)學之于信仰的價值的質疑以及德·梅勒爵士對于數(shù)學的確定性以及應用的局限性的質問,促使帕斯卡爾對其早期數(shù)學觀進行反思。
[Abstract]:Mathematics is the product of social thought and culture. Almost every mathematician's view of mathematics is influenced by the intellectual atmosphere, ideological trend and all social resources of the time and environment in which he lives. In this regard, the evolution of Pascal's early view of mathematics provides a typical case, characterized by the fact that his views on mathematics are closely related to his religious pursuits, mainly in the motivation of his mathematical research. Goal and his persistent pursuit and reflection on the value of mathematics to faith. Pascal's early view of mathematics was greatly influenced by the Paris mathematician community represented by Mason, who believed in the sanctity, validity and certainty of mathematics, and that mathematical research was a part of his belief. This understanding laid the foundation of Pascal's mathematics career, and his mathematical practice was deeply marked by this religious view of mathematics, and his work on arithmetic triangles was a typical embodiment of this characteristic. But at the same time, with the expansion of Pascal's circle of communication, the Jansenists questioned the value of mathematics to faith, and Sir de Mailer questioned the certainty of mathematics and the limitations of its application. It urges Pascal to reflect on his early view of mathematics.
