Factors Behind Failure of FedEx in Chinese Local Market

  中國(guó)物流業(yè)隨著中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的騰飛也發(fā)生了天翻復(fù)地的變化,新的民營(yíng)快遞企業(yè)迅速發(fā)展起來(lái)。中國(guó)政府從政策制定、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)推行、信息化等多個(gè)層面對(duì)物流業(yè)的持續(xù)發(fā)展進(jìn)行了良好的引導(dǎo)。聯(lián)邦快遞作為最早進(jìn)入中國(guó)市場(chǎng)的物流企業(yè),曾被列為中國(guó)十大物流公司之一,在發(fā)展初期對(duì)中國(guó)物流企業(yè)也起到了引導(dǎo)性作用,很多中國(guó)物流企業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)和借鑒其成功經(jīng)驗(yàn)。但近些年,包括聯(lián)邦快遞在內(nèi)的國(guó)外物流企業(yè)市場(chǎng)份額極具縮小,部分甚至退出中國(guó)市場(chǎng)。本文主要以聯(lián)邦快遞為研究對(duì)象,對(duì)比中國(guó)物流企業(yè)發(fā)展的現(xiàn)狀,對(duì)其在中國(guó)市場(chǎng)失敗的原因進(jìn)行詳細(xì)分析,并針對(duì)外國(guó)跨國(guó)公司可能取得的成功因素進(jìn)行研究。本論文研究表明:聯(lián)邦快遞在中國(guó)失敗的原因主要包括文化差異(在客戶行為方面)、語(yǔ)言差異(在中文網(wǎng)站管理、營(yíng)銷、廣告和推廣方面)、中國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)規(guī)章制度(在國(guó)內(nèi)政策方面)、市場(chǎng)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)(與國(guó)內(nèi)物流公司的競(jìng)爭(zhēng))、市場(chǎng)需求(在國(guó)內(nèi)政策方面)。ARGES和優(yōu)質(zhì)服務(wù)),以及供應(yīng)和連鎖管理(在中國(guó)大領(lǐng)土管轄范圍內(nèi)的任何地區(qū)的快速安全交付方面)等方面。結(jié)合失敗原因,本文給出未來(lái)其他跨國(guó)企業(yè)進(jìn)入中國(guó)市場(chǎng)的建議。
