牙買加業(yè)務(wù)流程外包行業(yè)發(fā)展概況及其對就業(yè)的影響

牙買加成功吸引了一些業(yè)務(wù)流程外包的頂級第三方提供商。盡管該國的行業(yè)發(fā)展迅速,但與一些地區(qū)競爭對手相比,它仍處于發(fā)展的早期階段。哥斯達黎加在全球價值鏈(GVC)上的排名尤其高于牙買加,這是因為哥斯達黎加通過提供信息技術(shù)外包服務(wù)而參與了“更高附加值的服務(wù)”,并且在整個本文中都可以與牙買加進行比較。與哥斯達黎加相反,牙買加在技術(shù)教育方面苦苦掙扎,因此,牙買加只能提供所謂的低端業(yè)務(wù)流程外包服務(wù)。本報告旨在通過觀察牙買加在BPO行業(yè)中地位低下對就業(yè)的影響,并收集解決方案以改善其在全球價值鏈中的地位,從而確定牙買加目前在離岸服務(wù)行業(yè)的表現(xiàn)。本文首先提供離岸服務(wù)全球價值鏈的概述,以提供對行業(yè)范圍和結(jié)構(gòu)的清晰理解。然后,它分析了牙買加境內(nèi)的國內(nèi)產(chǎn)業(yè)及其對就業(yè)的影響,同時對產(chǎn)業(yè)的優(yōu)缺點負責。然后,本文將提出針對短期,中期和長期項目的解決方案,以改善該國在全球價值鏈中的地位,從而對就業(yè)數(shù)據(jù),標準和薪資產(chǎn)生連鎖反應(yīng)。
