學者治校更能把準學術(shù)脈搏

【摘要】:正優(yōu)秀學者擔任學校管理者,贊同聲與質(zhì)疑聲并存。贊同者認為,優(yōu)秀學者尤其是那些海歸"大牛"心系國家,理應(yīng)重用,并借助他們來改革國內(nèi)學術(shù)界的現(xiàn)狀;質(zhì)疑者認為,優(yōu)秀學者一旦走上學而優(yōu)則仕的中國式老路,對學術(shù)界而言是重大損失,還有可能成為自己批評的科研體制的犧牲品。筆者以為,在我國當前的學術(shù)氛圍下",大牛"學者走上領(lǐng)導(dǎo)崗位有助于實現(xiàn)學術(shù)效果的最大化?v覽全球名校,世界頂級科學家擔任名校校長并非個案。據(jù)統(tǒng)計,世界排名前100名的大學校長,都擁有博士學位,排名前20
