【摘要】：教育指標研究緣起于美國社會指標運動,興盛于20世紀80年代。教育指標在本質(zhì)上是一種認識教育現(xiàn)象的量化實證方法,是對教育系統(tǒng)狀態(tài)或變化特征的刻畫。就具體教育指標而言,需要合理認識該指標所指代的教育特征的含義,明確指標與指代特征間究竟符合反映性測量模型還是形成性模型,以及在特定層次上指標的界定或運用是否合理和有效。教育指標系統(tǒng)不是多個教育指標的簡單組合,而是綜合了理論認識和現(xiàn)實需求的有機組合。構(gòu)建教育指標系統(tǒng)需要綜合考慮教育價值或過程理論、研究技術(shù)、教育政策、教育實踐和社會觀念等一系列因素。教育指標系統(tǒng)可以用來監(jiān)測教育系統(tǒng)的狀態(tài)和變化趨勢,判定目標是否達成,發(fā)現(xiàn)潛在的問題并指明解決方向,但不能提供因果推斷,不應作為教育決策的唯一依據(jù)。
[Abstract]:The study of educational indicators originated from the social index movement in the United States and flourished in the 1980 s. In essence, educational index is a quantitative empirical method to understand the phenomenon of education, and it is a description of the state or changing characteristics of the education system. As far as the specific educational index is concerned, it is necessary to reasonably understand the meaning of the educational characteristics referred to by the index, to clarify whether the index and the referential feature are in accordance with the reflective measurement model or the formative model, and whether the definition or application of the index at a specific level is reasonable and effective. The educational index system is not a simple combination of multiple educational indicators, but an organic combination of theoretical understanding and practical needs. In order to construct the educational index system, a series of factors, such as educational value or process theory, technology, educational policy, educational practice and social concept, should be considered comprehensively. The educational index system can be used to monitor the state and changing trend of the education system, to determine whether the goal is achieved, to identify potential problems and to point out the direction of solution, but it can not provide causality inference and should not be used as the only basis for educational decision-making.
