社交自我效能感:跨文化的修訂與應用

【摘要】:留學生的跨文化適應受到越來越多研究者的關注,本文從社交自我效能感的角度,通過質(zhì)性研究和量化研究相結(jié)合的方法,探究留學生在華社交自我效能感的維度和影響因素,修訂社交自我效能感問卷,并進一步探討了社交自我效能感和留學生跨文化適應的關系。 質(zhì)性研究中,通過訪談10位在華留學生,了解他們的社交狀況和影響社交的因素。運用扎根理論分析,表明在華留學生社交自我效能感主要包括參與社交活動和結(jié)交中國朋友兩個方面,影響社交自我效能感的因素可以分為個體層面因素、群體層面因素和國家層面因素。 量化研究中,對留學生隨機發(fā)放問卷150份,回收有效問卷134份。測量工具方面,結(jié)合質(zhì)性研究的結(jié)果對C,Fan和A,Mak(1998)的大學生社交自我效能感量表(SSESS)進行了補充和完善,修訂后的問卷包含來自SSESS的16道題目,和8道來自訪談研究的題目。問卷總體信度為0.832,并具有良好的效標效度和結(jié)構效度。 修訂后的社交自我效能感量表分為六個維度,分別是:適應東道國教育、對東道國的知覺、跨文化溝通、參與社交活動、結(jié)交中國朋友、社交自信。進一步的統(tǒng)計分析表明,留學生性別和地區(qū)差異在對東道國教育適應維度上存在顯著差異;留學生來華時間和年齡差異在社交活動維度上存在顯著差異;地區(qū)差異在跨文化溝通維度上存在顯著差異。留學生社交自我效能感和留學生跨文化適應水平呈正相關。并且通過回歸分析發(fā)現(xiàn)留學生社交自我效能感對留學生跨文化適應有顯著的預測作用。
[Abstract]:More and more researchers pay attention to the cross-cultural adaptation of foreign students. From the perspective of social self-efficacy, this paper explores the dimensions and influencing factors of students' social self-efficacy in China through the combination of qualitative research and quantitative research. The social self-efficacy questionnaire was revised and the relationship between social self-efficacy and cross-cultural adaptation of foreign students was discussed. In the qualitative study, 10 foreign students in China were interviewed to find out their social status and the factors that affect them. It shows that the social self-efficacy of foreign students in China mainly includes two aspects: participating in social activities and making Chinese friends. The factors affecting social self-efficacy can be divided into individual factor, group factor and national factor. In the quantitative study, 150 questionnaires were randomly sent out to foreign students, 134 valid questionnaires were collected. In terms of measuring tools, the SSESS scale of college students' social self-efficacy was supplemented and improved by combining the results of qualitative research. The revised questionnaire includes 16 questions from SSESS and 8 questions from interview study. The overall reliability of the questionnaire is 0.832, and the questionnaire has good validity and structural validity. The revised social self-efficacy scale is divided into six dimensions: adaptation to host country education, perception of host country, cross-cultural communication, participation in social activities, making Chinese friends, social self-confidence. There are significant differences in the dimensions of educational adaptation to the host country, the time and age of foreign students coming to China, and the differences in social activities. There are significant differences in cross-cultural communication between different regions. There is a positive correlation between social self-efficacy and cross-cultural adaptation of foreign students, and the regression analysis shows that the self-efficacy of social self-efficacy of foreign students is positively related to the level of cross-cultural adaptation of foreign students. Cross-cultural adaptation has a significant predictive effect.
