　　高職英語閱讀教學(xué)一直都是英語教學(xué)的重要組成部分也是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)。英語成績的提高需要教師創(chuàng)造語言環(huán)境因素，如果只是孤立地教授閱讀篇章，采用翻譯、解釋的方法教學(xué)，忽略語境意識(shí)而思維簡單，方法單一，就很有可能出現(xiàn)學(xué)生做過大量英語練習(xí)還是不能大幅提高閱讀能力的后果。隨著對(duì)英語學(xué)習(xí)者閱讀能力的要求越來越高，如何更好地運(yùn)用語境理論來進(jìn)行英語閱讀教學(xué)，以此來提高英語閱讀學(xué)習(xí)的效果，成為廣大英語教師面對(duì)的一個(gè)問題。本研究主要研究把語境理論應(yīng)用于高職英語閱讀教學(xué)中的可行性，可操作性及其有效性。作者在遼寧理工職業(yè)學(xué)院進(jìn)行了四個(gè)月的教學(xué)研究實(shí)驗(yàn)，兩個(gè)班共六十八名學(xué)生參加了這次實(shí)驗(yàn)。作者把這兩個(gè)班隨機(jī)地指定為一個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)班和一個(gè)控制班，實(shí)驗(yàn)班利用語境理論指導(dǎo)英語閱讀教學(xué)，控制班則采用常規(guī)的傳統(tǒng)教學(xué)方法。在本次研究實(shí)驗(yàn)中，作者采用定量研究的方法，利用SPSS軟件對(duì)實(shí)驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行了比較。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明，用來幫助理解文本的語境背景知識(shí)在很大程度上影響著學(xué)生的閱讀理解，與控制班學(xué)生相比實(shí)驗(yàn)班學(xué)生的英語閱讀成績提高幅度較大。實(shí)驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)分析得出結(jié)論：相關(guān)的語境知識(shí)在學(xué)生的閱讀理解過程中起很大作用。學(xué)生對(duì)于語境知識(shí)的掌握...
