隨著全球化加劇,不同文化背景的人們有了更多的交流機(jī)會(huì)。隨之而來的問題是多樣文化的密切接觸必然伴隨著沖突和矛盾,跨文化適應(yīng)問題也因而越發(fā)重要。這其中,留學(xué)生的問題占了很大一部分。他們?cè)谂c當(dāng)?shù)厝私涣鞯倪^程中,原文化中約定俗成的風(fēng)俗、價(jià)值觀等都發(fā)生了巨大的變化。這種變化在令他們感到興奮和新奇的同時(shí),也給他們帶來了巨大的壓力。1960年美國人類學(xué)家Kalvero Oberg進(jìn)一步豐富發(fā)展了Lysgaard(1955)的跨文化適應(yīng)理論,提出了文化休克的概念,該理論指出在缺失了原有熟悉的符號(hào)時(shí)旅居者會(huì)出現(xiàn)深度焦慮現(xiàn)象。他提出了一個(gè)四階段理論,指出旅居者在陌生的文化環(huán)境中都會(huì)經(jīng)歷一個(gè)類似的適應(yīng)階段,也就是蜜月期、危機(jī)期、恢復(fù)期、適應(yīng)期,整體呈U型曲線,但是研究發(fā)現(xiàn)不是所有人的跨文化適應(yīng)都適用于這個(gè)發(fā)展模式。近年來,中國學(xué)生的海外留學(xué)數(shù)量急劇增長,而針對(duì)這些留學(xué)生海外適應(yīng)情況的研究卻屈指可數(shù)。且跨文化適應(yīng)的過程不斷發(fā)展變化,身處不同時(shí)代的人們也會(huì)隨著時(shí)代的變化呈現(xiàn)出不同的適應(yīng)情況,因而本文從全國范圍內(nèi)調(diào)查了83位近年內(nèi)赴美國留學(xué)一年左右的本科學(xué)生,以文化休克理論為指導(dǎo),以赴美時(shí)間為維度,結(jié)合問卷和訪談...
