哈佛大學(xué)與復(fù)旦大學(xué)通識(shí)教育課程設(shè)置比較研究

【摘要】:美國(guó)哈佛大學(xué)和中國(guó)復(fù)旦大學(xué)在通識(shí)教育課程體系的設(shè)置上,既存在相同之處也存在明顯的差異性。它們的共同性表現(xiàn)在:1)通識(shí)課程內(nèi)容的多元性;2)通識(shí)課程類型的劃分,并要求在大學(xué)一年級(jí)進(jìn)行;3)體現(xiàn)了生活教育和公民教育的理念。其差異性表現(xiàn)在:1)哈佛大學(xué)較好地兼顧了人文學(xué)科、社會(huì)科學(xué)和自然科學(xué)三大知識(shí)門類,而在復(fù)旦大學(xué)的通識(shí)教育課程體系中,社會(huì)科學(xué)類課程比重偏低;2)哈佛大學(xué)在涉及外國(guó)文化的課程中兼顧了地域上的廣泛性,而復(fù)旦大學(xué)的通識(shí)教育課程則表現(xiàn)出明顯的歐美中心主義特點(diǎn);3)哈佛大學(xué)有相當(dāng)一部分的專題性課程或研討性課程,而復(fù)旦大學(xué)則以概論性課程和原著導(dǎo)讀性課程為主。兩所高校在通識(shí)教育課程設(shè)置上的差異在很大程度上代表了在兩個(gè)不同文化傳統(tǒng)、不同發(fā)展階段、不同政治體制下,開(kāi)展通識(shí)教育的不同探索。
[Abstract]:Both Harvard University and Fudan University in the United States have the same and obvious differences in setting up the curriculum system of general education. Their commonality is as follows: 1) the diversity of the contents of the general education curriculum; 2) the classification of the general education curriculum types, and 3) the concept of life education and civic education; 3) the classification of the general education curriculum types and the requirement to be carried out in the first grade of the university. The differences are as follows: 1) Harvard University takes into account the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. However, in Fudan University's general education curriculum system, the proportion of social sciences courses is low; 2) in the courses involving foreign culture, Harvard University takes into account the geographical extensiveness, while the general education curriculum of Fudan University shows obvious characteristics of European and American centrism; 3) Harvard University has quite a number of thematic courses or seminar courses, while Fudan University mainly focuses on general courses and original books-oriented courses. To a great extent, the differences in the curriculum arrangement of general education between the two universities represent the different exploration of carrying out general education in two different cultural traditions, different stages of development and different political systems.
