【摘要】：西方高等教育思潮雖然流派紛呈,但究其實質一直圍繞著兩個核心概念展開:一是自由教育,一是職業(yè)教育。它們有著幾乎背道而馳的教育哲學理念和教育實踐訴求。自由教育對西方高等教育影響深刻,且脈系龐大、名家眾多、成就顯赫。職業(yè)教育近年來雖然空間不斷擴張,并向縱深發(fā)展,但始終只是力圖滲透與融合,未能成為高等教育的中心。而在通識教育看來,自由教育和職業(yè)教育并不對立而是兼容,兩者存在辯證的對立統(tǒng)一關系。
[Abstract]:Although there are various schools of thought in western higher education, the essence of it is always centered on two core concepts: one is free education, the other is vocational education. They have almost run counter to the philosophy of education and the pursuit of educational practice. Free education has a profound influence on western higher education, and it has a large family, numerous famous scholars and outstanding achievements. In recent years, although the space of vocational education continues to expand and develop in depth, it has always tried to infiltrate and merge, and has not become the center of higher education. In the view of general education, free education and vocational education are not opposite but compatible, and they have dialectical unity of opposites.
