【摘要】：文化定勢是一種不可避免的普遍現(xiàn)象,在跨文化交際中具有積極或消極的作用,具有過分簡單、以偏蓋全、相對穩(wěn)定而又可變的特征。文化定勢是跨文化交際中不可避免的一個問題。杭州是中國東南沿海地區(qū)經(jīng)濟發(fā)達城市之一,面對越來越多的來華外賓,他們對中國和中國人的文化定勢將影響他們在華期間的工作和生活。于是,深入監(jiān)測他們的文化定勢變化有著深遠而實用的現(xiàn)實意義。 本文以滾雪球的抽樣方式,選取了在杭州的5名菲律賓籍工作人員,對他們進行了為期一年的敘事性研究,旨在調(diào)查： 1.他們在來中國之前對中國人的文化定勢有哪些? 2.在華期間,他們的文化定勢發(fā)生了怎樣的變化?3.我們能從這些文化定勢變化中吸取什么知識來幫助文化認同的進程? 通過第四章的分析研究,發(fā)現(xiàn)在這些文化定勢變化的過程中,個人的表現(xiàn)差別很大,但也有重合之處。主要取決于該被試的性格和動力,以及交際方法技巧和價值觀等,與在中國所待時間長短并無直接關(guān)系。 針對這種情況,作者提出一些切實可行的建議,如加深了解,學(xué)習(xí)語言,尊重對方宗教,注意個體化的情景差異以及培養(yǎng)自己獨特的交際方式等方法以便更好地進行跨文化交際。
