【摘要】：英國開放大學(xué)是世界遠程開放教育領(lǐng)域發(fā)展的先驅(qū)和風(fēng)向標(biāo),其影響是世界性的。但是,自2010年英國保守黨執(zhí)政以后,由于削減教育經(jīng)費而導(dǎo)致高等教育領(lǐng)域發(fā)生了劇烈的變化。英國開放大學(xué)深受這一政策影響,一個突出的變化是決定關(guān)閉英格蘭地區(qū)的10個地區(qū)中心,而只保留了位于米爾頓·凱恩斯的總部和蘇格蘭、威爾士、北愛爾蘭及愛爾蘭共和國的國家中心。這一變化對世界遠程開放教育界來講可謂一個巨大的震撼,給英國開放大學(xué)的員工及學(xué)生帶來的變化和影響更加深遠。本文分析了關(guān)閉地區(qū)中心這一決策的深層次原因及給我國遠程開放教育界的啟示,以期為我國開放教育系統(tǒng)提供一定的參考和借鑒。
[Abstract]:The British Open University is the pioneer and vane of the development of distance open education in the world, and its influence is worldwide. But since the Conservative Party came to power in 2010, cuts in education have led to dramatic changes in higher education. The Open University was deeply influenced by this policy, and one of the notable changes was the decision to close the 10 regional centres in England, with only the headquarters in Milton Keynes and Scotland, Wales, retained. The National Centre of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This change is a huge shock to the world's open distance education community, bringing about a profound change and impact on the staff and students of the Open University in the UK. This paper analyzes the deep reasons of the decision to close the regional center and the enlightenment to the distance open education in our country in order to provide some reference and reference for the open education system of our country.
