【摘要】：在早期的英語聽力研究中,更多研究關(guān)注背景知識在聽力理解中的積極作用,及生詞率對聽力理解的影響。但把二者做結(jié)合起來的相關(guān)研究卻不多。本研究主要提出了三個(gè)研究問題：(1)生詞率對二語學(xué)習(xí)者的聽力理解是否有顯著的影響?(2)比較生詞率和話題熟悉度哪一個(gè)因素對二語學(xué)習(xí)者的聽力理解有更顯著的影響?3)主題熟悉度和生詞率這兩個(gè)因素對二語學(xué)習(xí)者聽力理解的交互影響有多大?為了回答上述問題,本研究對杭州在65名國際高中生進(jìn)行了實(shí)證調(diào)查.文化宮校區(qū)組同學(xué)聽力測試前進(jìn)行了生詞反復(fù)抽查,確保90%正確率,而文三路校區(qū)組同學(xué)直接進(jìn)行聽力測試。受試者共完成了2篇主題熟悉與不熟悉的聽力篇章。聽前都完成了關(guān)于文章熟悉度的調(diào)查問卷。聽完篇章后,運(yùn)用SPSS19.0進(jìn)行了統(tǒng)計(jì)分析。測試結(jié)束后,抽取8位學(xué)生進(jìn)行追思法詢問。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,生詞率對二語學(xué)習(xí)者的聽力理解普遍有顯著影響。但生詞率影響的顯著性要弱于背景知識因素,當(dāng)受試者熟悉篇章話題時(shí),生詞率影響減弱,是因?yàn)楸尘爸R可以更好地實(shí)現(xiàn)自上而下和自下而上相結(jié)合的交互式信息處理方式,而單有詞匯知識會以自下而上信息處理方式為主,降低聽力理解準(zhǔn)確度。最后發(fā)現(xiàn)背景知識和生詞率的相關(guān)性不顯著,更加確認(rèn)了兩者對聽力理解的主效應(yīng)。
[Abstract]:In the early study of English listening, more studies focused on the positive role of background knowledge in listening comprehension and the influence of the rate of new words on listening comprehension. However, there are few related studies combining the two. The present study raises three questions: (1) whether the rate of new words has a significant effect on the listening comprehension of L2 learners? (2) which factor is more significant to the listening comprehension of L2 learners than the other factors such as the rate of new words and the degree of familiarity with the topic? How do the two factors, the familiarity of topic and the rate of new words, affect the listening comprehension of L2 learners? In order to answer the above questions, this study conducted an empirical survey of 65 international high school students in Hangzhou. In order to ensure 90% correct rate of new words, the students in the group of Wen San Road were tested directly before the listening test. The subjects completed two listening chapters of familiarity and unfamiliarity. A questionnaire on the familiarity of the article was completed before listening. After listening to the chapter, use SPSS19.0 to carry on the statistical analysis. After the test, 8 students were selected for questioning. The results show that the rate of new words has a significant effect on the listening comprehension of L2 learners. But the influence of the rate of new words is weaker than that of the background knowledge. When the subjects are familiar with the topic of text, the influence of the rate of new words is weaker, because the background knowledge can better realize the interactive information processing method of the combination of top-down and bottom-up. Only vocabulary knowledge will be based on bottom-up information processing to reduce the accuracy of listening comprehension. Finally, it was found that there was no significant correlation between background knowledge and word rate, which confirmed their main effects on listening comprehension.
