銜接與連貫理論在高中英語完型填空教學(xué)中的應(yīng)用

【摘要】:眾所周知,完形填空是一種用于考察學(xué)生綜合能力的測試題型。然而,在這種綜合性測驗中,很多學(xué)生經(jīng)常感覺力不從心。究其原因,他們往往只分析空項所在的句子,從傳統(tǒng)語法的角度去選擇,而不是從整體出發(fā)去分析各個語言單位之間的內(nèi)在關(guān)系。因此,學(xué)生的語篇綜合能力未能得到改善,這個題型的有效性受到質(zhì)疑。為此,筆者認為,很有必要去尋找一種依據(jù)于權(quán)威理論設(shè)計而成的有效的教學(xué)方法應(yīng)用于完形填空教學(xué)中用來提高學(xué)生的語篇綜合能力。銜接與連貫理論是語篇研究的核心理論,語篇的構(gòu)成必須靠銜接與連貫之間的相互作用。銜接與連貫理論與完型填空的設(shè)計依據(jù)有一定的相關(guān)性。為了提供有效實用的完形填空教學(xué)方法,本論文嘗試將銜接與連貫理論運用于高中英語完型填空的教學(xué)中。實驗的三個研究問題如下:1.基于銜接與連貫理論的教學(xué)方法,能夠提升學(xué)生做完形填空的策略嗎?2.銜接與連貫理論的教學(xué)方法比以往的教學(xué)方法更能有效地提高學(xué)生的完形填空成績嗎?3.應(yīng)用了銜接與連貫理論進行完型填空教學(xué)后,班級內(nèi)哪個層次學(xué)生(高、中、低)的完型水平提高的最為顯著?本研究采用了定量和定性分析的方法。作者選擇錦州市第一高級中學(xué)高二年級的學(xué)生作為本次實驗的研究主體,兩個班級學(xué)生的英語完型填空成績基本相當(dāng)。在為期四個月的實驗過程當(dāng)中,對學(xué)生進行了問卷調(diào)查、訪談、完形填空試題的前測和后測。其中,完形填空的前后測試卷均來自高考真題(遼寧2012和2010)。實驗后,運用SPSS 17.0對相應(yīng)的數(shù)據(jù)進行對比分析。實驗的結(jié)果表明:1.新的教學(xué)方法有利于提升學(xué)生應(yīng)用銜接與連貫策略解決完形填空問題的能力。2.基于銜接與連貫理論的教學(xué)方法,比以往的教學(xué)方法更能有效地提高學(xué)生的完形填空成績。3.經(jīng)過這一段時間的訓(xùn)練,班級內(nèi)中等學(xué)生的完型水平提高最為顯著。本研究在實施中仍然存在著一些不足,有待我們進一步探究。但毫無疑問的是,在英語完形填空的教學(xué)中,教師應(yīng)該注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運用銜接與連貫理論的解題意識。
[Abstract]:As we all know, cloze is a kind of test which is used to test the students' comprehensive ability. However, in this comprehensive test, many students often feel unable to do it. They tend to analyze only the sentences in which the empty items are located and choose from the perspective of traditional grammar rather than from the perspective of the whole to analyze the internal relations between the various linguistic units. The validity of this question type has been questioned because the students' comprehensive competence in discourse has not been improved. It is necessary to find an effective teaching method based on authoritative theory to improve students' comprehensive competence in cloze teaching. Cohesion and coherence are the core theories of discourse research. The formation of a text must depend on the interaction between cohesion and coherence. The theory of cohesion and coherence has a certain correlation with the design basis of cloze filling. In order to provide an effective and practical teaching method of cloze filling. This thesis attempts to apply cohesion and coherence theory to the teaching of cloze in senior high school. The three experimental questions are as follows: 1.The teaching method based on cohesion and coherence theory. Can you improve students' strategies for cloze filling? 2. Can the teaching method of cohesion and coherence improve students' cloze achievement more effectively than previous teaching methods? 3. After applying cohesion and coherence theory to cloze teaching, which level of students (high, middle, low) in the class can improve the Gestalt level most significantly? This study adopts quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. The author chooses the students of Grade two of Jinzhou No. 1 Senior Middle School as the main body of this experiment. The scores of English cloze filling in the two classes are basically the same. In the course of the four-month experiment, the students were investigated, interviewed, and the pre-test and post-test of cloze test were carried out. The test papers before and after cloze were collected from the real questions of the college entrance examination (Liaoning 2012 and 2010). SPSS 17.0 is used to compare and analyze the corresponding data. The experimental results show that:. 1. The new teaching method is helpful to improve the students' ability to solve cloze problem with cohesion and coherence strategies. 2. The teaching method based on cohesion and coherence theory. It is more effective than the previous teaching methods to improve the students' cloze score. 3. After this period of training. The Gestalt level of the middle school students in the class is the most significant. There are still some shortcomings in the implementation of this study, which need to be further explored. However, there is no doubt that in the teaching of cloze, there is no doubt that it is in the teaching of cloze. Teachers should pay attention to cultivating students' awareness of solving problems in the application of cohesion and coherence theory.
