少數(shù)族群的社會融合:威爾士借助語言的民族構(gòu)建

  多元化的少數(shù)民族,雖然人口不多,但卻構(gòu)成了多元文化的威爾士。鑒于威爾士日益增強的種族和文化多樣性,一個恢復自治權(quán)的政府擁有更好的機會結(jié)構(gòu)去解決社會融合問題,采取民族建構(gòu)策略。雖然威爾士有比以前更多的機會和權(quán)力來應對社會一體化議題,但少數(shù)民族群體的威爾士認同仍被忽視。更嚴重的是,因為威爾士政府沒有重視這個問題,妥善管理并給予公民明確的民族認同,種族多樣性對威爾士的社會一體化和凝聚力構(gòu)成了一定威脅。與此同時,威爾士出現(xiàn)了一股語言復興潮流,政府正積極將威爾士語法制化,為民族建構(gòu)提供了有效手段。在這個背景下,本文建議突出強調(diào)文化領(lǐng)域的威爾士民族建構(gòu)事業(yè)應該針對少數(shù)民族群體并通過威爾士語復興展開。因此,本文旨在評估威爾士是否可以威爾士語的日常使用實現(xiàn)對少數(shù)族群的社會融合,以及少數(shù)民族在日常生活中如何通過學習和使用威爾士語增強對威爾士的民族認同感。本文試圖回答威爾士民族建構(gòu)是如何通過語言實現(xiàn)社會融合,希望填補針對少數(shù)民族的威爾士民族認同的學術(shù)空白。更重要的是,本文希望為其他地區(qū)或國家的類似情況提供經(jīng)驗教訓。關(guān)于英國的民族建設(shè)工程如何針對少數(shù)民族進行社會融合的問題,已有許多著作。文獻綜述主要圍繞威爾...
