[Abstract]:As we all know, since 1976, the international status of the US dollar has gradually declined. In the world, the US dollar is used as a foreign exchange reserve to account for financial transactions and trade settlement. As a carrier of foreign exchange trading, the extent of the Bretton Woods era is lower than the peak of 1945-1971. Little attention has been paid to recent data changes. It is not hard to explain the gradual decline in the dollar's international standing: America's budget deficit, monetary expansion and current-account deficit remained stubbornly high after the Vietnam War.
