【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯項目報告。翻譯項目原文為《歐洲中心主義,現(xiàn)代知識和全球資本的“自然”秩序》,該文載在由杜克大學(xué)出版社出版的新雜志Nepantla: Views from the South2002年期刊上。原文作者是委內(nèi)瑞拉當(dāng)代社會學(xué)學(xué)者、教授、主要思想家以及左派作家埃德加多·蘭德。該文主要以歐洲中心主義知識為話語主軸,介紹了歐洲中心主義,現(xiàn)代知識和全球資本的“自然”秩序,簡要描述了其基本假設(shè),并對多邊投資協(xié)定(MAI)對私人投資進(jìn)行保護(hù)的國際規(guī)范、世界貿(mào)易組織(WTO)關(guān)于知識產(chǎn)權(quán)保護(hù)的協(xié)議都存在歐洲中心主義基本元素進(jìn)行了闡述。 在本次翻譯項目報告撰寫以及原文翻譯的過程中,筆者遇到的最大的難題是對原文相關(guān)知識涉獵的不足,經(jīng)貿(mào)翻譯所涉及的領(lǐng)域很廣泛,由于對翻譯之前沒有儲備豐富的相關(guān)經(jīng)貿(mào)知識,筆者翻譯時困難重重,除此之外,對中英文行文方式的把握不足也是很欠缺的一方面。英語句子長難句錯綜復(fù)雜,邏輯關(guān)系不容易理清,這也是其中的一個方面。筆者通過各種渠道,如尋求導(dǎo)師、同學(xué)幫助,通過查閱大辭典等等也逐一的解決了問題。 本翻譯報告內(nèi)容有四部分。第一部分介紹了翻譯項目背景：包括項目的來源、意義以及報告結(jié)構(gòu),指出整篇文章完成的情況,帶領(lǐng)導(dǎo)師,項目重要地位,以及項目構(gòu)成。文章的第二部分為原文背景介紹,包括作者簡介、原文版本和主要內(nèi)容介紹等,主要介紹了作者埃德加多·蘭德的寫作背景和他的作品內(nèi)容,并且對其作品有了一個詳細(xì)的分析。在本論文的第三部分里,是翻譯項目過程中的質(zhì)量控制,包括翻譯重難點問題的介紹、翻譯理論與方法的選擇與簡述、理論方法的運(yùn)用與重難點問題的解決等,筆者詳述了在翻譯過程中遇到的問題,以及解決辦法。最后一部分為文章的第四部分,主要介紹了筆者翻譯后獲得的啟示、教訓(xùn)以及待解決的問題。在這個項目報告的主要內(nèi)容中,第三部分是本翻譯報告的主要部分,筆者在這一部分里濃墨重彩,舉了大量的實例詳實的闡述了翻譯中運(yùn)用的翻譯理論與翻譯方法。
[Abstract]:This is a translation project report. The original translation project is "Eurocentrism," "the Natural order of Modern knowledge and Global Capital." in the new journal Nepantla: Views from the South2002, published by Duke University Press. The author is a contemporary Venezuelan sociologist and professor. The main thinker and left-wing writer, Edgado Rand, takes Eurocentrism knowledge as the main axis of discourse, introduces the "natural" order of Eurocentrism, modern knowledge, and global capital, and briefly describes its basic assumptions. The international norm of the protection of private investment under the multilateral Investment Agreement (mai) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) agreement on the protection of intellectual property rights all exist the basic elements of Eurocentrism. In the course of writing the report of this translation project and translating the original text, the biggest difficulty encountered by the author is the lack of knowledge of the original text. The economic and trade translation involves a wide range of fields. Since there is no rich knowledge of relevant economic and trade before translation, the author has many difficulties in translating. In addition, the lack of understanding of the way in which English and Chinese are written is also a very lacking aspect. English sentences are complicated by long difficult sentences. The logical relationship is not easy to sort out, which is also one of the aspects. I have solved the problem one by one through various channels, such as seeking help from teachers, classmates, consulting the dictionary and so on. There are four parts in this translation report. The first part introduces the background of the translation project, including the source, significance and structure of the project, points out the completion of the whole article, leads the instructor, and the importance of the project. And the composition of the project. The second part of the article is a background introduction to the original text, including the author's introduction, the original version, the main content, and so on. It mainly introduces the author, Edgado Rand's writing background and the content of his work. In the third part of this thesis, it is about the quality control in the process of translation projects, including the introduction of the important and difficult problems in translation, the selection and brief introduction of translation theories and methods. The author details the problems encountered in the process of translation, as well as the solutions. The last part is the 4th part of the article, which mainly introduces the enlightenment gained by the author after translation. In the main content of this project report, the third part is the main part of this translation report. A large number of examples are given to illustrate the translation theories and methods used in translation.
