從功能語法看商務(wù)合同的翻譯原則和策略

  隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展和全球化,商務(wù)合同在促進(jìn)跨國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)交易和規(guī)范市場(chǎng)秩序方面的作用愈加重要。但是,目前不少商務(wù)合同的翻譯存在不準(zhǔn)確、不專業(yè)、佶屈聱牙的現(xiàn)象,有的甚至是錯(cuò)誤百出。這些不合規(guī)范的商務(wù)合同翻譯不但會(huì)引起法律糾紛,導(dǎo)致經(jīng)濟(jì)損失,甚至?xí)䲠_亂國(guó)際市場(chǎng)秩序。所以,商務(wù)合同的翻譯需要有具體原則和翻譯策略的指導(dǎo)。目前對(duì)于商務(wù)合同翻譯的研究多是籠統(tǒng)的翻譯技巧的討論,少見科學(xué)系統(tǒng)地探討。因此,該文擬用功能語法理論對(duì)國(guó)際商務(wù)合同進(jìn)行分析,將其情景背景、文本功能和語言選擇有機(jī)聯(lián)系起來。商務(wù)合同發(fā)生的情景背景決定了它要實(shí)現(xiàn)的三個(gè)文本功能,作者試從這三個(gè)功能得出翻譯商務(wù)合同的三個(gè)具體原則,繼而揭示在這三個(gè)原則的指導(dǎo)下,在語言的微觀層面應(yīng)當(dāng)采取的翻譯策略。該研究為商務(wù)合同翻譯的研究提供了一個(gè)新的視角,并將為商務(wù)合同的翻譯提供理論上和實(shí)踐上的指導(dǎo)。
