[Abstract]:The amendments to the Labor Contract Law ( Amendment ) Law of the People ' s Republic of China on December 28 , 2012 , which was adopted at the 30th meeting of the Standing Committee of the First National People ' s Congress , will be implemented as of July 1 , 2013 . This is the first revision of the Act in the last five years . This amendment was formally launched by the National People ' s Congress in January 2012 . After extensive investigation , it was first brought to the National People ' s Congress by the end of June 2012 .
