論《仁學》中的世界主義——譚嗣同思想的再檢討

【摘要】:以往對譚嗣同政治思想的解讀,主要有民族主義和世界主義兩種相反的觀點。實際上,譚嗣同的思想中同時包含這兩種相互矛盾的傾向,而以后者更為顯著。他在《仁學》中建立了一種"以太—仁"的普遍主義理論體系,并以此為基礎闡述了世界主義的兩個面向:地球"大一統(tǒng)"的政治愿景與個體"普遍成佛"的解脫理想。另一方面,面對嚴峻的現(xiàn)實危機,他又時時表現(xiàn)出強烈的救亡意識。然而,世界主義與民族主義的固有張力在一定程度上消解了"救中國"的合法性。這顯示出世界主義理念在近代中國的不合時宜性,也促使我們思考其在當代世界的意義和可能性。
[Abstract]:In the past, there were two opposite views on Tan Sitong's political thought: nationalism and cosmopolitanism. In fact, Tan Sitong's thought contains these two contradictory tendencies at the same time, especially the latter. In "benevolence", he established a universal theory system of "ether-benevolence", and on this basis expounded the two aspects of cosmopolitanism: the political vision of "unification of the earth" and the ideal of individual "universal enlightenment". On the other hand, in the face of severe crisis, he always showed a strong sense of salvation. However, the inherent tension between cosmopolitanism and nationalism dispels the legitimacy of "saving China" to some extent. This shows the anachronism of cosmopolitanism in modern China and urges us to think about its significance and possibility in the contemporary world.
