【摘要】：本論文討論大衛(wèi)·休謨的人格同一性問(wèn)題。休謨?cè)凇度诵哉摗返谝痪淼谒恼碌诹?jié)闡述了他關(guān)于人格同一性的基本觀念:傳統(tǒng)意義上恒久不變的人格實(shí)體是不存在的,人格的同一只是人們想象力的虛構(gòu),所謂的自我或人格是以不能想象的速度互相接續(xù)著、并處于永遠(yuǎn)流動(dòng)和運(yùn)動(dòng)之中的知覺的集合或一束知覺。但是休謨對(duì)自己關(guān)于人格同一性的這個(gè)解釋并不滿意。他在《人性論》的附錄中坦言"在我較嚴(yán)格地檢查了關(guān)于人格同一性的那一節(jié)之后,我卻發(fā)現(xiàn)自己陷入了那樣一個(gè)迷境,使我不得不承認(rèn),我既不知道如何改正我以前的意見,也不知道如何使那些意見互相一致" 1。這就是休謨的人格同一性問(wèn)題。休謨?cè)谡撟C過(guò)程中將對(duì)人格同一性的證明轉(zhuǎn)化為證明我們?yōu)槭裁从腥烁裢恍缘母杏X,并將這種感覺的證明再次轉(zhuǎn)化為考察組成意識(shí)的各個(gè)知覺如何建立起聯(lián)系并具有整體的統(tǒng)一性。本文首先通過(guò)對(duì)休謨對(duì)人格同一性的證明過(guò)程以及他為何后來(lái)坦言證明失敗,以及國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者關(guān)于休謨?nèi)烁裢恍噪y題的分析,厘清休謨?nèi)烁裢恍噪y題的具體所指和主要困難;其次,將休謨解釋人格同一之感陷入僵局的主要原因歸于英國(guó)經(jīng)驗(yàn)主義觀念論自身的局限性,通過(guò)考察洛克與巴克萊的經(jīng)驗(yàn)論對(duì)觀念的規(guī)定,以及與其各自的觀念論相對(duì)應(yīng)的人格理論,進(jìn)一步探討休謨的觀念論的缺陷同其人格同一性理論難題的關(guān)系;最后從觀念論的缺陷與人格理論內(nèi)在的矛盾之處入手,探討解決休謨?nèi)烁裢恍噪y題的兩個(gè)途徑:能否或者在多大程度上在休謨理論框架內(nèi)部尋求解決方法;在休謨理論外部尋找更為有效的解決途徑,比較康德和威廉·詹姆斯各自結(jié)合觀念的方法,引入威廉·詹姆斯的思想流學(xué)說(shuō)和他的徹底經(jīng)驗(yàn)主義的方法,以修補(bǔ)休謨的人格同一性理論。
[Abstract]:This paper discusses the personality identity of David Hume. Hume expounds his basic concept of personality identity in the first volume, chapter four, section six, of the Theory of Human Nature: there is no permanent personality entity in the traditional sense, and the identity of personality is only the fiction of people's imagination. The so-called self or personality is a collection or bunch of perception that is connected to each other at an unimaginable speed and is in perpetual flow and motion. But Hume was not satisfied with his interpretation of personality identity. In the appendix to the Theory of Human Nature, he admitted, "after I examined the section on personal identity more closely, I found myself in such a puzzle that I had to admit that I had no idea how to correct my previous opinion. Also do not know how to make those views agree with each other "1. This is Hume's personal identity. Hume transformed the proof of personality identity into the sense of why we have a sense of lattice identity in the process of argumentation. The proof of this kind of feeling is transformed again into examining how the consciousness of composition establishes the connection and has the unity of the whole. This paper first analyzes Hume's proof process of personality identity and why he later confessed to his failure, and the domestic and foreign scholars' analysis of Hume's identity problem. Secondly, the main reasons for Hume's explanation of the deadlock of personality identity are attributed to the limitations of British empiricism. This paper explores the relationship between Hume's limitation of concept theory and the difficult problem of personality identity theory by examining the regulations of Locke's and Barclays' empiricism and the personality theory corresponding to his own concept theory. Finally, starting with the defects of concept theory and the contradiction of personality theory, this paper discusses two ways to solve Hume's personality identity problem: can or to what extent to find a solution within the framework of Hume's theory; To find a more effective solution outside Hume's theory, compare Kant's and William James's methods of combining ideas, and introduce William James's theory of thought flow and his thorough empiricism. To repair Hume's theory of personality identity.
