【摘要】：本文將工人階級文化研究置于英國文化馬克思主義的歷史流變之中,并以該問題為核心,梳理了英國文化馬克思主義在階級與階級意識、文化與意識形態(tài)、主體能動性與社會結(jié)構(gòu)性等馬克思主義重大問題上的立場和觀點,以求在此基礎上凸顯其理論的特征和價值,探討其理論的不足和缺陷。從整體來看,英國文化馬克思主義的工人階級文化研究與英國馬克思主義的理論發(fā)展變化保持了基本的一致性,都經(jīng)歷了一個辯證發(fā)展的基本趨勢。在早期的工人階級文化研究中,研究者們從批判經(jīng)濟決定論出發(fā),反對那種無視主體力量、脫離實際的教條化的馬克思主義理論,對文化在階級形成以及斗爭中的重要作用予以了經(jīng)驗化的證明,展現(xiàn)了工人階級文化與大眾文化的顯著不同與矛盾對立。隨著時代形勢的變化和早期新左派固有缺陷的日益凸顯,英國文化馬克思主義進入了結(jié)構(gòu)主義馬克思主義的發(fā)展階段,這種理論范式變更對工人階級文化研究產(chǎn)生了重要影響。自此,工人階級文化不再被視為工人階級主體的自發(fā)性創(chuàng)造,而是成為了統(tǒng)治階級意識形態(tài)的再現(xiàn)。研究工人階級文化的原因亦從證明階級文化的存在到批判作為虛假意識形態(tài)的工人階級文化。在這一階段,工人階級文化研究實踐主要通過伯明翰學派得以而展開。該學派通過對青年亞文化和媒介問題的分析和探討,為主體和結(jié)構(gòu)兩面的融合做出了有益的探索。20世紀70年代末,這兩種理論范式的爭論愈演愈烈,論爭的雙方也都深刻地指出了對方在理解階級文化問題時的嚴重不足。在此前提下,英國文化馬克思主義開始運用葛蘭西的理論對工人階級文化進行新的分析。這一分析指出,工人階級文化既非本真意義上的經(jīng)驗表達,也不再是統(tǒng)治階級意識形態(tài)任意宰制的場域,而是在相對穩(wěn)定的歷史階段中統(tǒng)治階級與被統(tǒng)治階級進行斗爭的主要方式。與此同時,英國文化馬克思主義也遭受著政治上的打壓和后現(xiàn)代主義理論的致命沖擊,這使工人階級文化研究呈現(xiàn)出兩方面的走向:一方面,研究者們從強調(diào)工人階級文化內(nèi)部的異質(zhì)性出發(fā),迅速發(fā)展為對階級文化存在的否認;另一方面,研究者們開始脫離政治經(jīng)濟學的理論框架,從而使文化上的斗爭淪落一種“符號游擊戰(zhàn)”,從而標著英國文化馬克思主義在實質(zhì)上走向了政治上的保守主義。通過將英國文化馬克思主義工人階級文化研究的理論范式與研究實踐相結(jié)合,本文考察了它在不同歷史語境中的變動發(fā)展和一以貫之的結(jié)構(gòu)性特征,目的在于從這一研究的理論變遷出發(fā),厘清英國文化馬克思主義對馬克思主義的承繼和發(fā)展、倒退和偏離,為我國更好地理解發(fā)展馬克思主義提供有益的參考和借鑒。
[Abstract]:This paper puts the study of working class culture in the historical evolution of British cultural Marxism, and combs the British cultural Marxism in class and class consciousness, culture and ideology with this issue as the core. In order to highlight the characteristics and value of its theory and to discuss its shortcomings and defects, the main body's initiative and social structure and other major Marxist issues stand and point of view, in order to highlight the characteristics and value of its theory on this basis. The study of working class culture of British cultural Marxism maintains the basic consistency with the development and change of British Marxism theory. In the early study of working class culture, the researchers began from criticizing economic determinism and opposed that kind of disregard for the subject. The dogmatic Marxist theory, which is divorced from reality, has proved empirically the important role of culture in class formation and struggle. It shows the striking difference and contradiction between the working class culture and the popular culture. With the change of the times and the inherent defects of the early New leftists, it is becoming more and more obvious. British cultural Marxism has entered the stage of development of structuralism Marxism, and the change of theoretical paradigm has had an important impact on the study of working class culture. The culture of the working class is no longer regarded as the spontaneous creation of the main body of the working class. The reason for studying the working class culture is from proving the existence of the class culture to criticizing the working class culture as the false ideology. The research practice of working class culture is mainly carried out through the Birmingham School, which analyzes and discusses the subculture and media problems of young people. For the integration of the subject and the structure of the two sides to make a useful exploration. The end of 70s in the 20th century, the two theoretical paradigms of the controversy intensified. The two sides of the controversy also pointed out the other side in the understanding of class and cultural problems in the serious deficiencies. Under this premise. British cultural Marxism began to use Gramsci's theory to make a new analysis of the working class culture, which pointed out that the working class culture is neither the expression of experience in the true sense. Also is no longer the ruling class ideology arbitrary domination field, but in the relatively stable historical stage, the ruling class and the ruling class carries on the struggle, at the same time. British cultural Marxism has also suffered from political repression and the fatal impact of postmodernism theory, which makes the study of working class culture show two trends: on the one hand. In order to emphasize the heterogeneity of the working class culture, the researchers developed rapidly into the denial of the existence of the class culture. On the other hand, the researchers began to break away from the theoretical framework of political economics, so that the cultural struggle was reduced to a "symbolic guerrilla warfare". Thus marks the British cultural Marxism in essence to the political conservatism. By combining the theoretical paradigm of British cultural Marxism working class culture with the research practice. This paper examines its changing development and consistent structural characteristics in different historical contexts, with the aim of starting from the theoretical changes of this study. To clarify the inheritance, development, retrogression and deviation of British cultural Marxism to Marxism provides a useful reference for our country to better understand and develop Marxism.
