應(yīng)用Smart Plug淚小管塞治療干眼癥的臨床觀察
[Abstract]:Background and objective: with the progress of society and the improvement of population quality, the discomfort of xerophthalmia has attracted more and more attention. The etiology of xerophthalmia is very complicated. At present, artificial tear is still used in clinic. Smart Plug (? By blocking the lacrimal tubules of the patients to prevent the discharge of tears, the normally secreted tears remain in the eyes, thus improving the xerophthalmia. To evaluate the clinical effect of Smart Plug lacrimal tubule plug in the treatment of xerophthalmia. Methods: from January 2009 to May 2010, 42 patients (84 eyes) with dry eye were treated with Smart Plug lacrimal canaliculus plug. The patients were followed up for 5 to 15 months with an average of 8.3 months. According to SchirmerI test (SIT), tear film rupture time (TBUT), corneal fluorescein staining (FL), to observe the clinical curative effect. Results: 1. The (SIT) of SchirmerI test before and after treatment were 3.41 鹵0.60mm and 5.75 鹵0.44mm, respectively (P0.05). The tear film rupture time (TBUT) before and after treatment was 3.75 鹵1.26 seconds and 6.46 鹵1.47 seconds respectively (P0.05). The (FL) scores of corneal fluorescein staining were 2.45 鹵0.06 and 0.04 鹵0.02 (P0.05), respectively. The patient's subjective symptoms improved. The differences were statistically significant. Conclusion: using Smart Plug lacrimal tubule plug to treat dry eye, blocking part of lacrimal tubules in order to prevent the discharge of tear, so that the normal secretion of tears in the eyes, so as to improve the symptoms and obtain better curative effect. It not only simplifies the procedure and difficulty, but also reduces the rate of self exclusion, plug loss and secondary infection of lacrimal duct. The physiological microenvironment of dry eye patients was improved and the quality of life was improved. It is worth further clinical research and promotion.
