《好安娜》的概念隱喻研究

【摘要】:格特魯?shù)隆に固┮颍?874-1946),是早期的語言實(shí)驗(yàn)者和后現(xiàn)代主義的先驅(qū)。斯泰因在中國的知名度并不高,但她是多位有名作家的導(dǎo)師兼朋友,如歐內(nèi)斯特·海明威,司各特·菲茨杰拉德等。《好安娜》是斯泰因的第一部出版小說《三個(gè)女人》中的一篇短篇故事,這個(gè)故事描述的是一個(gè)德國移民到美國的女傭——安娜的日常生活。 自從萊考夫和約翰遜在他們劃時(shí)代的《我們賴以生存的隱喻》一書中提出概念隱喻理論以來,該理論已經(jīng)在全世界的學(xué)術(shù)界產(chǎn)生了強(qiáng)烈的影響。本理論主張隱喻是人類的認(rèn)知機(jī)制。隱喻在本質(zhì)上是一種“跨域映射”,這表明我們?nèi)祟愂褂檬煜ず途唧w的概念來描述陌生和抽象的概念。 本論文將分析《好安娜》中的概念隱喻以及主人公的性格特點(diǎn)。雖然斯泰因的描述平鋪直敘,,但安娜豐滿的形象還是透過各種概念隱喻顯示了出來。本論文先對《好安娜》中的概念隱喻進(jìn)行搜集分類,并選出其中11個(gè)概念隱喻的26個(gè)例子,然后根據(jù)萊考夫和約翰遜對于概念隱喻的分類,將這些概念隱喻分為方位隱喻、本體隱喻、結(jié)構(gòu)隱喻,并通過跨域映射和意象圖式對其進(jìn)行分析說明,從而揭示主人公安娜善良,大方,有愛心,易怒,自以為是等性格。 通過對《好安娜》中的概念隱喻分析,證明了概念隱喻在文學(xué)創(chuàng)作中起到一定作用,如表情達(dá)意和幫助讀者理解文學(xué)作品等。
[Abstract]:Gertrude Stein (1874 / 1946) was an early language experimenter and pioneer of postmodernism. Stein is not well known in China, but she is a mentor and friend of a number of famous writers, such as Ernest Hemingway, Scott Fitzgerald, etc. "good Anna" is a short story in the first novel, "three Women," about the daily life of Anna, a maid from Germany who emigrated to the United States. Since Lakoff and Johnson put forward the conceptual metaphor theory in their landmark metaphor for our Survival, this theory has had a strong influence in the academic circles all over the world. This theory argues that metaphor is the cognitive mechanism of human beings. Metaphor is essentially a "cross-domain mapping", which shows that we use familiar and concrete concepts to describe unfamiliar and abstract concepts. This paper will analyze the conceptual metaphor in good Anna and the character characteristics of the protagonist. Although Stein's description is tiled and straightforward, Anna's plump image is shown through various conceptual metaphors. In this paper, the conceptual metaphors in good Anna are collected and classified, and 26 examples of 11 conceptual metaphors are selected. Then, according to the classification of conceptual metaphors by Lakoff and Johnson, these conceptual metaphors are divided into azimuth metaphor, ontology metaphor and structural metaphor, and analyzed and explained through cross-domain mapping and image schema, thus revealing that the protagonist Anna is kind, generous, loving and irritable. Self-righteousness is the same as character. Through the analysis of conceptual metaphor in good Anna, it is proved that conceptual metaphor plays a certain role in literary creation, such as expressing meaning and helping readers understand literary works.
