建構(gòu)第三空間：《女勇士》中敘述者身份的后殖民主義研究

【摘要】：著名美國華裔女作家湯亭亭的首部作品《女勇士》于1976年出版，該作品一經(jīng)問世，便受到了學界的廣泛關(guān)注。本文借助霍米巴巴的“第三空間”理論，對湯亭亭在《女勇士》中對中國神話及民間傳說的改寫進行了研究，認為湯亭亭通過對中國民間故事的改寫與重述建構(gòu)了文化及種族上的第三空間。本文共分為五個部分。 前言部分簡單介紹了湯亭亭及其作品、國內(nèi)外《女勇士》研究現(xiàn)狀以及本文的研究視角和結(jié)構(gòu)安排。 第一章通過分析敘述者對中國文化的反抗及批判性的修正，探討了湯亭亭文化上的第三空間的建構(gòu)，具體分析了敘述者反抗中國文化的三個主要表現(xiàn)：對“無名姑姑”故事的改寫、對母親的反抗及對中國華人群體的反抗，以及花木蘭故事改寫中體現(xiàn)的對中國文化的修正。 第二章主要探討了湯亭亭如何建構(gòu)種族第三空間，具體分析了敘述者對美國社會種族主義的揭露與反抗以及對種族關(guān)系的探究。 第三章主要探討了湯亭亭建構(gòu)第三空間的現(xiàn)實意義，具體分析了其現(xiàn)實意義的三個方面：緩解了文化及種族沖突，重塑了華裔女性的身份，幫助湯亭亭本人獲得個人身份和個人價值。 結(jié)論部分總結(jié)了論文的主要內(nèi)容，，指出湯亭亭通過對中國傳統(tǒng)故事的改編和對中西文化價值觀有選擇性的提取，建構(gòu)了一個跨文化和種族的第三空間，不僅幫助她實現(xiàn)了自身價值，獲得個人身份，而且為陷入文化身份困惑的華人移民提供了一種借鑒。
[Abstract]:The first work of famous Chinese American woman writer Hong Ting-ting, woman Warrior, was published in 1976. as soon as it was published, it has been widely concerned by the academic circles. With the help of homi Baba's theory of "third space", this paper studies the rewriting of Chinese myths and legends in Women Warriors by Hong Ting-ting, and holds that Hong Ting-ting has constructed the third space of culture and race through the rewriting and renarration of Chinese folk stories. This paper is divided into five parts. The preface briefly introduces Hong Ting Pavilion and its works, the research status of Women Warriors at home and abroad, as well as the research perspective and structure of this paper. The first chapter, by analyzing the narrator's resistance to Chinese culture and critical correction, discusses the construction of the third space in Hong Ting's culture, and concretely analyzes the three main manifestations of the narrator's resistance to Chinese culture: the rewriting of the story of the nameless aunt, the resistance to the mother and the resistance to the Chinese group, and the revision of the Chinese culture embodied in the rewriting of the story of Hua Mulan. The second chapter mainly discusses how Hong Ting-ting constructs the third space of race, and analyzes the narrator's exposure and resistance to American social racism and the exploration of race relations. The third chapter mainly discusses the practical significance of Kingston's construction of the third space, and analyzes three aspects of its practical significance: alleviating the cultural and ethnic conflicts, reshaping the identity of Chinese women, and helping Hong Ting himself to obtain personal identity and personal value. The conclusion part summarizes the main contents of the paper, and points out that through the adaptation of Chinese traditional stories and the selective extraction of Chinese and Western cultural values, Hong Ting-ting constructs a third cross-cultural and racial space, which not only helps her realize her own value and obtain her personal identity, but also provides a reference for Chinese immigrants who are trapped in the confusion of cultural identity.
