　　會話分析是20世紀(jì)60、70年代從美國發(fā)展起來的一門學(xué)科,其主旨在于揭示日常言語交際中固有的會話結(jié)構(gòu)模式。作為會話分析的核心,話輪轉(zhuǎn)換理論通常用來研究日常對話。作為戲劇的載體,戲劇對話也遵循日常會話的一般規(guī)律。本研究基于話輪轉(zhuǎn)換理論,旨在探討戲劇中人物之間的關(guān)系與性格。《榆樹線下的欲望》是尤金·奧尼爾的代表作之一,被譽(yù)為“美國第一部偉大的悲劇”。目前就《榆樹下的欲望》的研究多基于女性主義,象征主義等文學(xué)批評理論。本研究以《榆樹下的欲望》中最能體現(xiàn)主要人物之間關(guān)系及性格的四組對話為研究語料,從話輪轉(zhuǎn)換的角度對這些對話進(jìn)行了分析。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):一,父親卡特和小兒子伊本的父子關(guān)系是冷漠的,缺乏親情的。在二人的對話中,卡博特多次發(fā)起話輪吸引伊本的注意力并使用了較長話輪的策略控制話語權(quán),而伊本大多以次選回答作為回應(yīng)。同時(shí),伊本也主動(dòng)發(fā)話諷刺卡博特來達(dá)到控制話語權(quán)的目的,最后二人甚至因言語不和而發(fā)生了肢體沖突。在交流中,卡博特冷酷自私的性格以及伊本倔強(qiáng)的性格也得以展現(xiàn);二,丈夫卡博特和妻子艾比夫妻之間的感情缺少真愛,是靠對物質(zhì)的欲望來維系的,因而導(dǎo)致了他們病態(tài)的夫妻關(guān)系。在節(jié)選的對話中,艾比起初對卡博...
