【摘要】：約翰·福爾斯是一位在世界文壇上享有重要聲譽(yù)的作家,也是一位文壇地位榮辱沉浮頗有戲劇性的作家,他的作品一開始在英國并不被看好,卻在美國得到了認(rèn)可和接受,直到1969年《法國的中尉的女人》出版,獲得國際筆會(huì)銀筆獎(jiǎng)和W·H·史密斯文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)之后,福爾斯在英國的文學(xué)地位才得以確立。福爾斯的小說集深刻的哲理性與藝術(shù)手法的實(shí)驗(yàn)性先鋒性于一體,深受讀者喜愛,備受評論者和學(xué)者關(guān)注�！斗▏形镜呐恕芬跃S多利亞黃金時(shí)代為背景,講述了一段充滿偶然性和不確定性的愛情故事。故事有三個(gè)不確定的結(jié)局,情節(jié)藝術(shù)具有后現(xiàn)代性;作者以歷史敘事的策略,展現(xiàn)了19世紀(jì)英國的社會(huì)歷史風(fēng)貌;同時(shí)作品也為讀者提供了一個(gè)充滿多樣性闡釋和解讀歷史的空間,通過對歷史社會(huì)的解構(gòu),能動(dòng)地創(chuàng)造了20世紀(jì)60年代的英國社會(huì)形態(tài)。本文以新歷史主義理論為指導(dǎo),分別從文本的歷史性,歷史的文本性,小說的歷史敘事策略三個(gè)方面對《法國中尉的女人》進(jìn)行解讀,重點(diǎn)研究該小說呈現(xiàn)的社會(huì)歷史文化、對社會(huì)歷史的解構(gòu)以及小說的歷史敘事策略。論文緒論部分主要就本文的研究背景、研究方法新歷史主義理論、研究對象福爾斯及其創(chuàng)作做一綜述;論文的第一章主要研究小說對維多利亞黃金時(shí)代道德神話和進(jìn)化論對思想觀念與階級力量的重組的關(guān)注;第二章主要研究小說以20世紀(jì)60年代的英國為歷史觀照點(diǎn),通過文學(xué)虛構(gòu)中兩性關(guān)系的重構(gòu)和文學(xué)話語下的倫理建構(gòu),對男權(quán)傳統(tǒng)和守舊的紳士道德的批判,以及對女性突破傳統(tǒng)實(shí)現(xiàn)自我獨(dú)立的精神和積極進(jìn)步思想的贊美;第三章主要探討小說的歷史敘事策略,通過分析小說敘述的不確定性,時(shí)間的空間化,真實(shí)與虛擬的轉(zhuǎn)換來展現(xiàn)作者對小說藝術(shù)形式的創(chuàng)新和大膽革新。通過新歷史主義這一視角分析《法國中尉的女人》,可以發(fā)現(xiàn)小說對維多利亞時(shí)期社會(huì)歷史內(nèi)涵的全新審視,深入理解闡釋文本呈現(xiàn)的歷史語境,實(shí)現(xiàn)文本與歷史的對話與互動(dòng)。
[Abstract]:John Fowles is a writer who enjoys an important reputation in the world of literature, as well as a writer whose status in the literary world is quite dramatic. His works were not appreciated in Britain at first, but they were accepted and accepted in the United States. Fowles' literary status in England was not established until 1969, when the French Lieutenant's woman was published, won the International pen Silver Pen Award and the W. H. Smith Prize for Literature. Fowles' novels are a collection of profound philosophy and the experimental vanguard of artistic techniques, which are loved by readers and concerned by critics and scholars. "the woman of the French Lieutenant" takes the Victorian Golden Age as the background. It tells a love story full of chance and uncertainty. The story has three uncertain endings, and the plot art has postmodernity, the author shows the social and historical features of the 19th century England with the strategy of historical narration. At the same time, the works also provide readers with a diverse interpretation and interpretation of history space, through the deconstruction of the historical society, the dynamic creation of the 1960s British social formation. Guided by the new historicism theory, this paper interprets the French Lieutenant's woman from three aspects: the history of the text, the textuality of the history and the historical narrative strategy of the novel, focusing on the study of the social history and culture presented in the novel. Through the reconstruction of the relationship between the two sexes in the literary fiction and the ethical construction under the literary discourse, the author criticizes the patriarchal tradition and the old-fashioned gentleman's morality, as well as the female's spirit of breaking through the tradition to realize self-independence and the positive progressive thought. The third chapter mainly discusses the historical narrative strategy of the novel, through the analysis of the uncertainty of the novel narration, the space of time, the transformation between the real and the virtual to show the author's innovation and bold innovation to the artistic form of the novel. Through the analysis of the French Lieutenant's woman from the perspective of New historicism, we can find out that the novel examines the connotation of Victorian society and history, deeply understands the historical context of the interpretation of the text, and realizes the dialogue and interaction between the text and history.
