【摘要】：托馬斯·哈代與沈從文都是世界文壇上最具代表性的鄉(xiāng)土小說(shuō)作家,他們各自都圍繞鄉(xiāng)土這一題材進(jìn)行了具體創(chuàng)作并形成了自己獨(dú)特的系列小說(shuō):“威塞克斯小說(shuō)”和“湘西小說(shuō)”。哈代和沈從文分別以自己的家鄉(xiāng)作為小說(shuō)的故事發(fā)生地,以自己熟悉的生活環(huán)境為背景,構(gòu)筑了“威塞克斯世界”和“湘西世界”;二人都在其作品中敘述了自己對(duì)家鄉(xiāng)的熱愛(ài)之情,都對(duì)現(xiàn)代工業(yè)文明進(jìn)行了強(qiáng)烈批判。細(xì)讀文本、詳細(xì)比較哈代與沈從文的鄉(xiāng)土小說(shuō),便可發(fā)現(xiàn)二者在文學(xué)創(chuàng)作背景、文本內(nèi)容書(shū)寫(xiě)、文學(xué)理想等方面具有諸多相似、相異之處。本文運(yùn)用梳理歸類(lèi)、對(duì)比分析、綜合論述等方法對(duì)哈代與沈從文的小說(shuō)進(jìn)行比較研究,以期深入認(rèn)識(shí)兩位作家的創(chuàng)作意旨、寫(xiě)作風(fēng)格、藝術(shù)特點(diǎn)等,從而深化對(duì)他們鄉(xiāng)土小說(shuō)內(nèi)涵的理解。首先,論文從分析哈代與沈從文選取鄉(xiāng)土題材進(jìn)行文學(xué)創(chuàng)作的原因入手,探究他們的成長(zhǎng)環(huán)境、人生經(jīng)歷以及鄉(xiāng)土情結(jié)對(duì)其鄉(xiāng)土小說(shuō)創(chuàng)作產(chǎn)生的影響。其次,從哈代與沈從文鄉(xiāng)土小說(shuō)中相異的鄉(xiāng)景再現(xiàn)、獨(dú)特的人物刻畫(huà)、不同的悲劇風(fēng)格入手,分析兩位作家對(duì)淳樸鄉(xiāng)村的深厚感情、對(duì)自然女性的稱(chēng)頌贊揚(yáng)和對(duì)殘酷現(xiàn)實(shí)的強(qiáng)烈批判。再次,從哈代與沈從文追求的文學(xué)理想入手,分析兩位作家對(duì)社會(huì)問(wèn)題的深刻反思、對(duì)人性問(wèn)題的執(zhí)著拷問(wèn)和對(duì)回歸自然的強(qiáng)烈期盼。最后,在以上分析論述的基礎(chǔ)上得出結(jié)論:盡管哈代與沈從文的鄉(xiāng)土小說(shuō)有許多相異之處,但是他們的作品都以自己的故鄉(xiāng)為背景,真實(shí)地描寫(xiě)了當(dāng)時(shí)鄉(xiāng)村的狀況和人們的貧苦生活,表現(xiàn)了現(xiàn)代文明對(duì)傳統(tǒng)文明的侵襲與破壞,表達(dá)了對(duì)田園牧歌式農(nóng)村的懷念,寄托了以農(nóng)村人善良質(zhì)樸德行重鑄人們靈魂的美好愿望。
[Abstract]:Thomas Hardy and Shen Congwen are the most representative local fiction writers in the world. Each of them has made their own unique series of novels: Wessex novel and Xiangxi novel. Hardy and Shen Congwen take their hometown as the story place of the novel, take their familiar living environment as the background, and construct "Wessex World" and "Xiangxi World". In their works, they both describe their love of their hometown and strongly criticize modern industrial civilization. By carefully reading the text and comparing Hardy's and Shen Congwen's local novels in detail, we can find that there are many similarities and differences between them in the background of literary creation, the writing of text content, the literary ideal and so on. This paper makes a comparative study of Hardy's and Shen Congwen's novels by means of combing and classifying, comparing and analyzing, synthetically discussing and so on, in order to deeply understand the two writers' creative intention, writing style, artistic characteristics and so on. In order to deepen their understanding of the connotation of local novels. First of all, the paper analyzes the reasons why Hardy and Shen Congwen select local themes for literary creation, and probes into the influence of their growing up environment, life experience and local complex on their local novel creation. Secondly, this paper analyzes the profound feelings of the two writers for the simple countryside, starting with the different rural scenery reproduction, the unique character portrayal and the different tragic style in Hardy's and Shen Congwen's local novels. Praise of natural women and strong criticism of cruel reality. Thirdly, starting with the literary ideal pursued by Hardy and Shen Congwen, the author analyzes the profound reflection on social problems, the persistent torture of human nature and the strong expectation of returning to nature. Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, it is concluded that although Hardy and Shen Congwen's local novels have many differences, their works are all based on their hometown. It describes the rural situation and people's poor life, shows the invasion and destruction of traditional civilization by modern civilization, and expresses the nostalgia for pastoral countryside. Entrusted with the kind and simple rural people to rebuild the soul of the people's good wishes.
