自20世紀(jì)80年代末興起了翻譯的“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”以來,關(guān)于文化層面的翻譯著書和文章開始越來越多地進(jìn)入人們的視線。從本質(zhì)上說,翻譯就是跨文化傳播。隨著當(dāng)今國與國交往的日益密切,外事活動尤其增多的情況下,外事翻譯無疑成為了跨文化交際的一項(xiàng)重要形式。因此,在外事翻譯中,加入文化因素的考量和研究勢在必行。 本文旨在從文化翻譯學(xué)和跨文化交際學(xué)的角度來探究外事翻譯。本文的主要內(nèi)容由三個部分構(gòu)成。第一,對外事翻譯與文化因素分別進(jìn)行了介紹,在此基礎(chǔ)上,以跨文化交際為切入點(diǎn),提出了外事翻譯中,譯員可能面臨的文化困惑。第二,先從理論方面,提出了外事翻譯中,文化翻譯的策略和標(biāo)準(zhǔn);后從實(shí)踐方面,結(jié)合大量的實(shí)例引證,著重探究和分析其中的習(xí)語、委婉語與禁忌語、隱喻、文化特色詞的文化內(nèi)涵及其翻譯,并詳細(xì)論述了相應(yīng)的、具有實(shí)用價(jià)值的翻譯方法。第三,結(jié)合跨文化交際的全球化大背景,作者指出了外事翻譯在當(dāng)前所面臨的挑戰(zhàn)與機(jī)遇,又在相關(guān)的理論基礎(chǔ)上,提出了外事譯員所必備的跨文化能力及其所應(yīng)扮演的新角色。 作者希望通過本課題的研究,能讓讀者重新審視外事翻譯這一特殊而又重要的跨文化交際形式,了解和掌握一定的文化內(nèi)涵翻譯的...
