模因論是解釋文化傳播和文化遺傳的理論,自其問(wèn)世以來(lái),在多領(lǐng)域內(nèi)對(duì)其都有討論。作為跨文化交際的重要手段之一—翻譯,也可以用模因論為指導(dǎo)理論,對(duì)某些現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行研究。迪絲婷之前,人們?cè)谘芯磕Ｒ騻鞑r(shí),主要關(guān)注模因本身的因素,迪絲婷則強(qiáng)調(diào)了人這一主觀因素在影響模因成功傳播中的地位。自此,人的因素和物的因素才共同成為人們研究的焦點(diǎn)。以影響模因傳播的因素來(lái)研究文化負(fù)載信息的翻譯活動(dòng)中策略的選擇,目前還是一個(gè)較為新穎的課題。本文以翻譯策略為體,以模因論為用,在模因論指導(dǎo)下,首先討論了在翻譯過(guò)程中人的因素和物的因素對(duì)翻譯中歸化、異化兩種策略選擇的影響。在翻譯模因的傳播過(guò)程中,人的因素主要是譯者和讀者,物的因素則指譯文本身。在翻譯中,譯者的主體性是相當(dāng)明顯的,譯者的目的,時(shí)代感,文化傳播的責(zé)任感,都對(duì)譯者選擇策略產(chǎn)生影響。從讀者角度看,讀者是否接受某個(gè)譯文,最終決定了該譯文的成功與否,也就是說(shuō)該模因能否成為一個(gè)成功的模因。譯文讀者的文化需求,審美需求,和異質(zhì)文化接受能力,也是在翻譯中必須考慮的因素。文本本身的文體特點(diǎn)和功能特點(diǎn)也要求在策略選擇時(shí)有所區(qū)別對(duì)待。本文也討論了對(duì)于核心文化這一特殊翻譯對(duì)象的處理意...
