道格拉斯·羅賓遜是當代西方翻譯學界一位十分具有影響力的譯學理論家,曾在美國密西西比大學英語系執(zhí)教多年,現(xiàn)執(zhí)教于香港嶺南大學,任外語系主任。羅賓遜興趣范圍廣泛,研究視野十分開闊,他主要關注以人類社會互動為主的人與人之間的交流,特別是身體反應轉化為思想的自我調(diào)整自我控制機制的作用,這種研究被稱為身體學理論。具體而言,其主要研究領域包括：文學理論、翻譯理論、文化理論、修辭理論和性別研究等。本文以道格拉斯·羅賓遜的翻譯身體學為研究對象,將其與西方譯學界的傳統(tǒng)翻譯觀點作對比。傳統(tǒng)的西方翻譯研究研究中更重視對理性因素的研究,而忽略對感性因素的研究,崇尚理性、擯棄感性,這樣,譯者就被當做翻譯的工具,甚至被二元化、完美化。道格拉斯致力于變更研究出發(fā)點,把注意力轉移到翻譯過程中對翻譯活動影響很大的感性因素上來,把譯者的身體反應,即其主觀感受和個體經(jīng)驗當做翻譯研究的新的起點。羅賓遜的譯學理論以翻譯身體學為核心展開,從譯者地位、譯者與原文作者的關系、譯者與譯文讀者的關系、翻譯方法、培養(yǎng)譯者等多方面展開論述,旨在揭示譯者在翻譯過程中的主體性地位,指出翻譯活動可以被看作是譯者同時在與原文作者及譯文讀者之間進行一...
