隱喻簇是認知隱喻學的新興和前沿課題。它指的是在同一語篇中將兩個或兩個以上看似不一致、不協(xié)調(diào)甚至相互矛盾的隱喻結合在一起,以產(chǎn)生特定的交際效果。在傳統(tǒng)的修辭學和文體學中,隱喻簇被視為修辭手法的誤用,是一種應該避免的文體瑕疵。但是隨著隱喻研究的不斷深入,很多國內(nèi)外研究開始意識到隱喻簇是“混而不雜”的,它是隱喻語言的一種重要表現(xiàn)形式。但是,作為普遍使用的概念隱喻的常見形式之一,隱喻簇研究卻剛剛起步。首先,隱喻簇相關的一些基本問題存在爭議。到目前為止,隱喻簇的界定存在爭議,分類也不夠全面和系統(tǒng)。其次,隱喻簇現(xiàn)象對經(jīng)典的概念隱喻理論發(fā)起了挑戰(zhàn),亟需構建一個針對隱喻簇的全新的綜合性認知解釋模型。另外,以往的隱喻簇研究多注重隱喻簇的認知機制,針對認知效果的研究相對較少。鑒于此,本文以英國2018年《衛(wèi)報》“觀點”專欄全年報道為研究對象,從概念隱喻理論視角出發(fā),運用定性為主,定量為輔,演繹與歸納相結合的研究方法。本文發(fā)現(xiàn):首先,作為一個飽受爭議的新興現(xiàn)象,隱喻簇亟需新的定義和分類。隱喻簇是具有映射結構的隱喻在相鄰語篇中聚集的現(xiàn)象。其次,通過語料庫的統(tǒng)計分析發(fā)現(xiàn),隱喻簇可以分為四類,它們在語篇中的分布相...
