【摘要】：從語言類型學的角度,人類語言分為量詞語言和非量詞語言。量詞作為一個特殊成分在現代語言學界得到越來越多的關注。本文在特征核查的框架下詳細討論了量詞及量詞短語的性質。對于量詞短語的結構,雖然以往的研究很多,但并不能給我們一個統(tǒng)一而且滿意的結論。針對這個問題,語言學家的分歧主要體現在量詞短語到底是左分支結構還是右分支結構。本文認為,量詞屬于功能詞類,主要的語法功能為對名詞進行個體化,使名詞可數。作為功能詞類,量詞占據量詞短語的中心地位,因此量詞短語是右分支結構。我們采用Gebhardt(2009)的句法框架,認為名詞短語的投射根據是否具有定指解讀分為SQP和WQP。同時,文章從特征核查的角度詳細分析了該結構的合理性。特征核查同樣適用于解釋量詞短語在不同漢語方言中的分布以及解讀關于量詞的語義,文章主要涉及量詞和復數標記以及定指的關系。量詞和復數標記并不是互補分布的關系。雖然這兩個功能性成分都和名詞的數量解讀息息相關,它們在名詞的可數性中起著不同的作用。漢語中量詞和復數標記不同現的原因在于語義特征的不相容。而對于量詞和定指的關系,我們認為量詞不同于限定詞。漢語并沒有發(fā)展出一套成熟的標記定指的語法系統(tǒng)。要確定一個短語是否有定指解讀在很大程度上依賴于語境。而不同方言中光桿量名短語之所以有不同的分布和解讀,是因為在有的方言中量詞語法化程度更高,被賦予了[def]特征,因此光桿量名結構可以有定指解讀。本文的意義在于:第一,通過特征核查,我們可以得到漢語量詞短語的正確投射;第二,在特征核查的框架下,我們能夠合理地解釋量詞語言和非量詞語言在名詞結構上存在的異同;第三,文章為探討漢語中的功能性成分提供了新的視角。
