【摘要】：隱喻一直被視為一個(gè)研究的熱點(diǎn)課題。隱喻理論曾經(jīng)在很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間里被看成一種修辭格。在《我們賴以生存的隱喻》的書(shū)中,萊考夫和約翰遜提出一種理論認(rèn)為,隱喻是一種思維,認(rèn)知的一個(gè)分支,是一種思維方式。也就是說(shuō),隱喻是人類認(rèn)知和理解世界的工具。由于體育英語(yǔ)的抽象性特征,體育新聞?lì)I(lǐng)域存在大量的隱喻特征,該類語(yǔ)篇引起了越來(lái)越多認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)領(lǐng)域?qū)W者們的注意。盡管體育英語(yǔ)在我們的日常生活中無(wú)處不在,許多專業(yè)的體育術(shù)語(yǔ)不容易被普通讀者獲取。為了使讀者更好的了解體育新聞,在體育隱喻這方面進(jìn)行探索。作者采用定量和定性相結(jié)合的方法,試圖運(yùn)用概念隱喻的形成機(jī)制,來(lái)說(shuō)明漢語(yǔ)和英語(yǔ)在體育隱喻表達(dá)方面的文化差異。本文選取482個(gè)中文概念隱喻和470個(gè)英文概念隱喻作為研究對(duì)象,選自2014年體育新聞的雜志《體育畫報(bào)》中。將概念隱喻主要分為八大類型：戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)隱喻,人類隱喻,旅程隱喻,自然風(fēng)光隱喻,動(dòng)物隱喻,植物隱喻,戲劇隱喻,和夢(mèng)想隱喻。然后,根據(jù)兩類的比較,通過(guò)定量分析,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)不同的文化差異對(duì)使用頻率的影響。更重要的是,這項(xiàng)研究給在體育領(lǐng)域中的隱喻表達(dá)提供了進(jìn)一步說(shuō)明。本文通過(guò)分析,希望能夠幫助英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者提高對(duì)抽象體育隱喻的理解能力和在此類文章中的認(rèn)知水平。
