【摘要】： 本文旨在研究交際者如何在交際中選擇不同的語(yǔ)言形式或交際策略順應(yīng)權(quán)力。文章以Verschueren(1999)提出的語(yǔ)言順應(yīng)理論為框架，收集了文學(xué)作品、電視劇和日常對(duì)話中的會(huì)話作為語(yǔ)料并對(duì)其進(jìn)行定性的語(yǔ)用分析，研究交際者語(yǔ)言選擇中的變異性、順應(yīng)性和商討性以順應(yīng)制度化權(quán)力和語(yǔ)境化權(quán)力，進(jìn)而達(dá)到成功的交際目的。 交際中的權(quán)勢(shì)關(guān)系隨著語(yǔ)境的變化而動(dòng)態(tài)的變化，決定著語(yǔ)言形式和交際策略的選擇。交際者的權(quán)力來源于其地位、年齡、性別、專業(yè)知識(shí)、金錢等。交際中利用何種權(quán)力資源進(jìn)行語(yǔ)言選擇要依靠語(yǔ)境而定。 語(yǔ)言能夠揭示和反映其背后的權(quán)力。語(yǔ)言是交際者用來影響和控制別人的一個(gè)象征性資源。本文將分析權(quán)力是如何在日常會(huì)話中得到商討，，權(quán)力被認(rèn)為是一個(gè)動(dòng)態(tài)的、相互的、共識(shí)的概念。語(yǔ)言形式的選擇發(fā)生在語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)的任何一個(gè)層面；交際策略受交際者和交際目的的支配。因此交際是一個(gè)有目的、被操縱、表達(dá)思想的過程。交際者利用權(quán)力資源進(jìn)行交際以維持積極的人際關(guān)系并達(dá)到交際目的。本文不僅揭示權(quán)勢(shì)關(guān)系如何影響語(yǔ)言的選擇，語(yǔ)言選擇又是如何順應(yīng)各種類型的權(quán)力；而且揭示語(yǔ)言選擇背后的文化因素和交際動(dòng)機(jī)。
