傳統(tǒng)意義上,大多數(shù)語言學家把隱喻看作是修辭方式。自從Lakoff和Johnson發(fā)表了《我們賴以生存的隱喻》之后,語言學家開始從認知的角度研究隱喻。隱喻普遍存在于人們的日常生活中,尤其是思想和行為中。人們用隱喻去理解抽象的概念,演繹抽象的推理。作為主要的認知手段,隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻常常相互結(jié)合。隱轉(zhuǎn)喻的相互作用就像是硬幣的兩面。所以為了研究和分析抽象的情感概念,本論文把隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻結(jié)合起來。情感在人們的日常生活中扮演著重要角色。情感概念是抽象的,無形的,所以很難理解。人們常用具體的,簡單的方式去構(gòu)建情感概念。在過去的幾十年里,有大量的研究分析了情感隱喻,大多數(shù)語言學家更多地關(guān)注了隱喻而忽視了轉(zhuǎn)喻。但是轉(zhuǎn)喻在構(gòu)建情感概念方面發(fā)揮著重要作用,從本研究中可以看出,在構(gòu)建情感概念時,轉(zhuǎn)喻起了基礎性作用,而大多數(shù)憤怒隱喻是在轉(zhuǎn)喻的基礎上抽象出來的。本論文研究憤怒隱喻在漢英中的特點及差別,憤怒隱喻及轉(zhuǎn)喻形成過程中的聯(lián)系及原因。本論文采用了語料庫研究方法和對比研究相結(jié)合來對英漢中的憤怒情感進行對比研究。筆者分別從美國當代英語語料庫和北京大學漢語語料庫中檢索了所有的有關(guān)憤怒詞條,又分別判定出英漢各240條憤怒隱喻...
