隨著國(guó)際交流的日益頻繁,跨文化交際能力的培養(yǎng)和提高也日趨重要。恭維語(yǔ)是人們?nèi)粘＝浑H中頻繁出現(xiàn)的一種禮貌言語(yǔ)行為。然而,在全球化加快的當(dāng)今社會(huì),擁有不同文化背景的人們對(duì)恭維語(yǔ)的理解和使用也不盡相同。本研究通過(guò)對(duì)中美情景喜劇中恭維語(yǔ)的異同進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析,揭示隱藏在這一言語(yǔ)行為現(xiàn)象下的中美兩個(gè)民族間的文化差異,從而幫助人們有效地提高跨文化交際能力。 本研究以言語(yǔ)行為理論和禮貌原則等理論為指導(dǎo),基于所搜集的語(yǔ)料,對(duì)中美情景喜劇中的恭維言語(yǔ)行為進(jìn)行語(yǔ)用對(duì)比分析,試圖發(fā)現(xiàn)如何在不同的文化背景中恰當(dāng)表達(dá)和接受恭維的途徑。作者選取了20世紀(jì)八十年代以來(lái),中美情景喜劇蓬勃發(fā)展時(shí)期比較流行的、有代表性的12部情景喜劇,中美各六部。內(nèi)容涉及普通家庭生活、年輕人的友情愛(ài)情生活、青少年成長(zhǎng)經(jīng)歷等方面。從每個(gè)方面都隨機(jī)抽出了一些恭維言語(yǔ)行為,共300項(xiàng),中美各150項(xiàng)。然后從語(yǔ)義模式,句法模式,話題選擇和應(yīng)答方略四個(gè)方面對(duì)中美恭維言語(yǔ)行為進(jìn)行比較分析。 研究結(jié)果表明,中美電影中的恭維言語(yǔ)行為在語(yǔ)義模式、句法模式,話題選擇和應(yīng)答方略方面都呈現(xiàn)出程式化的趨勢(shì):語(yǔ)義和句法模式都具有一定的程式;話題都主要集中在幾個(gè)特定的方...
