耶夫·維索爾倫(Jef Verschueren)的語用綜觀論(a pragmatic perspective on language)認(rèn)為應(yīng)該從認(rèn)知、社會和文化的整體功能角度解釋語言的使用,而且認(rèn)為語言使用其實就是在不同意識程度下為了順應(yīng)語境和語言結(jié)構(gòu)而不斷做出選擇的動態(tài)過程。這種不同于英美“語用分項說”的語用綜觀論為全面研究、解釋各種語言現(xiàn)象提供了一個統(tǒng)一連貫的理論框架。 根據(jù)語用綜觀論視角下的語言順應(yīng)理論(linguistic adaptability theory),本文著重對話語理解(utterance interpretation)的過程,即意義生成(meaning generation),進行了相關(guān)語用分析,描述了在話語理解過程中各種語言選擇、順應(yīng)活動是如何作為一種有效的語用策略協(xié)助實現(xiàn)意義的建構(gòu)與生成,并試圖建立一種能夠較好闡釋話語理解處理過程的意義推導(dǎo)模式,既能較為全面地解釋話語意義生成中所涉及到的各種不同的意義成分(meaning sources of utterance),又能準(zhǔn)確闡釋他們之間相互作用、生成意義的動態(tài)運算法則(algorithm)。 基于對有關(guān)話語理...
