英漢多義詞“Head/頭”的認(rèn)知對(duì)比研究

詞是語(yǔ)言中最基礎(chǔ)的單位,而詞匯的核心是意義。在產(chǎn)生之初,詞都是單義的,隨著對(duì)外部世界認(rèn)識(shí)的加深及認(rèn)知的驅(qū)動(dòng),人們開(kāi)始對(duì)詞的基本義進(jìn)行擴(kuò)展,一詞多義現(xiàn)象應(yīng)運(yùn)而生。很多學(xué)者從不同角度對(duì)這一現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行了探討,然而大部分研究都是從詞義延伸的外部原因進(jìn)行分析,忽略了語(yǔ)義的內(nèi)部聯(lián)系。身體作為認(rèn)知載體在人類認(rèn)知世界的過(guò)程中起著核心作用。作為人類最重要的器官之一,“head/頭”使人具有思考,認(rèn)知和判斷的能力,為人們感知世界提供了最基礎(chǔ)的認(rèn)知方式,但語(yǔ)言學(xué)對(duì)于“head/頭”的認(rèn)知研究卻不多。認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)家對(duì)一詞多義的研究重點(diǎn)大多在其背后的認(rèn)知機(jī)制,認(rèn)為一詞多義是在認(rèn)知范疇化和概念化的基礎(chǔ)上,通過(guò)隱喻、轉(zhuǎn)喻機(jī)制而產(chǎn)生的認(rèn)知產(chǎn)物。兩者的工作機(jī)制存在著差異,但實(shí)際兩者界限模糊且相互交融。現(xiàn)有的研究大多過(guò)分強(qiáng)調(diào)概念隱喻的作用,忽視了概念轉(zhuǎn)喻的基礎(chǔ)性功能,也很少?gòu)膬烧呓换プ饔玫慕嵌确治鋈梭w詞多義現(xiàn)象的認(rèn)知過(guò)程。本文擬立足前人研究,在概念隱喻和概念轉(zhuǎn)喻理論框架基礎(chǔ)上,結(jié)合Goossens的隱轉(zhuǎn)喻相互作用理論框架,探索人體詞“head/頭”一詞多義的認(rèn)知機(jī)制。首先基于四本權(quán)威的英漢詞典收集語(yǔ)料,采用定量與定性相結(jié)合的...
