英漢拒絕言語(yǔ)行為的跨文化研究

拒絕言語(yǔ)行為是言語(yǔ)行為理論應(yīng)用于實(shí)踐的一個(gè)重要方面。本文從跨文化交際的角度對(duì)“拒絕言語(yǔ)”以及禮貌策略進(jìn)行研究。不同文化背景下的人,拒絕言語(yǔ)也各有特點(diǎn)。以英語(yǔ)為母語(yǔ)的美國(guó)人崇尚個(gè)人主義,在拒絕時(shí)較為直率,但也兼顧尊重他人的面子,因此在拒絕時(shí)使用一些策略,減少對(duì)他人面子的傷害。以漢語(yǔ)為母語(yǔ)的中國(guó)人推崇集體主義,更加注重人際關(guān)系,因此在拒絕時(shí)會(huì)使用更多的策略,把對(duì)他人面子的傷害降至最低,但在跨文化交際中人們會(huì)受到母語(yǔ)的影響把母語(yǔ)遷移到目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言中,使交際受到影響,因此要運(yùn)用一些策略以避免負(fù)遷移為跨文化交際帶來(lái)影響。 在日常交際過(guò)程中,難免會(huì)遇到拒絕他人請(qǐng)求、邀請(qǐng)、建議等傷害對(duì)方面子的行為,表現(xiàn)在語(yǔ)言上即是“威脅面子行為”(FTA)。為了削弱和淡化拒絕的“威脅性”,人們通常借助于禮貌的語(yǔ)言策略。由于文化背景的不同在使用策略方面也有差異,以漢語(yǔ)為母語(yǔ)的中國(guó)人在拒絕上較為間接,使用間接策略比例較高;以英語(yǔ)為母語(yǔ)的美國(guó)人在拒絕上較為直接,因此直接策略的使用比例較高。在拒絕他人時(shí),身份的不同也會(huì)導(dǎo)致策略上的變化。英語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)在拒絕與自己地位平等的人時(shí)使用直接策略的比例差異不大;在拒絕比自己高地位的人時(shí)使用...
