文化學(xué)派視域下的外國文學(xué)作品翻譯選材研究(1949-1976)

  1949年至1976年間的外國文學(xué)作品翻譯研究在我國一直處于一個(gè)被遺忘的角落,直到最近幾年才引起國內(nèi)學(xué)者們的關(guān)注。但是,學(xué)界對(duì)這一時(shí)期的外國文學(xué)作品翻譯選材的研究并不是很多,而從翻譯的文化研究視域?qū)ζ溥M(jìn)行的探討與研究則更少。本文主要從文化學(xué)派視域的角度對(duì)這一階段的外國文學(xué)作品的翻譯選材進(jìn)行深入的研究。 本文的理論框架是文化學(xué)派代表人物勒弗維爾的改寫理論,又輔之以埃文·佐哈爾的多元系統(tǒng)理論中有關(guān)翻譯文學(xué)在文學(xué)多元系統(tǒng)中所處的地位的相關(guān)理論。在勒弗維爾看來,一切翻譯都可以看作是改寫。在翻譯的過程中,譯者的翻譯行為不可避免地會(huì)受到時(shí)代和社會(huì)文化的影響和制約,從而也就使譯者的翻譯成了一種在特定文化、思想、意識(shí)形態(tài)話語中的改寫、變形或再創(chuàng)造。在這個(gè)意義上,勒弗維爾認(rèn)為譯入語文化的意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩學(xué)、贊助人是操縱文學(xué)翻譯的三種基本力量,其中意識(shí)形態(tài)對(duì)翻譯文學(xué)的制約和影響尤為顯著。 由于中國特殊的政治歷史背景,1949年至1976間的外國文學(xué)作品翻譯選材被高度地意識(shí)形態(tài)化,使其具有鮮明的階級(jí)性和服從性。換句話說,這一時(shí)期的外國文學(xué)作品翻譯選材是在中國共產(chǎn)黨和中央政府的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)之下,始終遵循著黨的文藝方針,與...
