從認(rèn)知負(fù)荷模式看口譯中短時記憶的策略

  口譯員是源語講話者與譯入語聽眾之間的一座橋梁,短時記憶力亦是口譯中連接源語和譯入語的一條紐帶。因此,良好的短時記憶力是譯員得以施展其口譯技能的前提條件。 口譯過程中,短時記憶至關(guān)重要。Phelan (2001:4-5)在談?wù)摽谧g員應(yīng)具備的資質(zhì)時說:“口譯員需要良好的短時記憶能力來儲存他或她所聽到的信息……”。在口譯的記憶階段,口譯員需要良好的短時記憶能力編碼和儲存源語信息;在口譯的表達階段,如果沒有良好的記憶力,口譯員也不能提取儲存的信息,并將其解碼到譯入語。 短時記憶是本文研究的議題。根據(jù)吉爾的“認(rèn)知負(fù)荷模式”,短時記憶是口譯中一個必不可少的組成部分,口譯的過程包括:將源語信息編碼,儲存信息,提取信息和信息解碼到譯入語。本文指出口譯員在口譯的編碼階段和解碼階段,都要利用短時記憶能力,并且本文研究短時記憶的理論視角是吉爾的“認(rèn)知負(fù)荷模式”。 概括地說,首先本文從口譯概況入手,從吉爾的“認(rèn)知負(fù)荷模式”的視角,闡釋了短時記憶在口譯中的地位;并從短時記憶本身的特點和口譯的工作環(huán)境兩個方面,分析了口譯中影響短時記憶質(zhì)量的因素;然后提出口譯中提高短時記憶的策略,包括長期的短時記憶訓(xùn)練的方法,通過...
