　　銜接作為語篇的重要組成部分之一,吸引了眾多學者和語言學家的興趣。學者和語言學家力圖建立銜接與連貫的關系及其在語篇生成中的地位。根據韓禮德和哈桑的觀點,銜接分為兩類：語法銜接和詞匯銜接。詞匯銜接通過詞匯的選擇來實現。事實上,詞匯銜接在語篇構建中起著舉足輕重的作用。它是賦予話語篇章性的重要手段,同時還起著使語篇連貫的作用。 本文以侯儀(2000)關于英語語篇中的詞匯銜接模式為框架,力圖分析英語散文和漢語散文中詞匯銜接手段的異同�；诤顑x的理論,本文將詞匯銜接分為：簡單重復,復雜重復,簡單釋義,復雜釋義,上義詞,下義詞和共指。在此分類基礎上,本文選取了三篇英語散文和三篇漢語散文,分別分析它們在詞匯銜接手段的使用上表現出了異同。本文發(fā)現,簡單重復在漢語語篇中的使用頻率要高于其它詞匯銜接手段,而英語語篇的一個明顯趨勢是更多地使用同義詞。對于同義詞的使用頻率,英語語篇要高于漢語語篇。 期望本文所發(fā)現的研究結果能加深對英漢語篇中詞匯銜接現象的理解,而且能對英語語篇教學以及英漢語篇互譯有所啟示。
